I just can’t find any 3s’ that aren’t from a caldina. That and it’s a killer price. I just wasn’t sure if it made a difference I mean a 3s should be a 3s to a certain extent right? I know there is changes in generation to generation. And time and knowledge isn’t really an issue. 2 guys at my shop are swapping machines. My main concern I guess is the wiring harness. I’ve swapped exact motors. But never OBD1 to OBD2 or US to JDM. |

I’ve recently decided it would be in my best interest for what I’m wanting is to swap the 5s out. Luckily I’ll get a little more life out of it so I can take my time and build the new motor. (Sweetheart only has 256,000 miles) but my question was has anyone swapped the 3sgte out of a 98-02 Caldina into ours? Mine is a 1995, I’ve searched for months now and cant get an exact answer. I’ve got a killer price on one and thought it might be worth it. Thanks ahead for your guys’ time. |
