Two plugs sorta in the back off the diff. Use ATF for sure. I think I just drained mine and then filled it til it almost poured out which is roughly the amount it calls for. I would do it, the filter and the tranny itself all in one deal.

My Old Post
Here is a PIC

Ok, use those two threads and you'll be fine. And yeah, if your doing the diff you might as well do the whole thing in one shot. Trans refill/Diff refill and of course filter.

good info. I just did the tranny fluid with new filter yesterday. I can do the diff separately?
edit: ok im reading the service manual and how it says "Both transmission and differential plugs must be
removed to drain all fluid from both units."....does this mean I have to drain it again?....good grief.

Is it hard to remove the quarter window glass on the hatch? And would it be better to take it off prior to painting the car or no?

Quick questions on the 1/4 quarter glass in the hatch.
Is it hard to remove and would it be better to remove prior to painting. There are some rust spots under the black molding.

That button operates the under dash lights.
Hooked it up to the cig lighter wires.

what type of shift knob is that? and whered you get the shift boot for it?

Universal auto shifter from ebay, bought it a year back.
I didn't bother reconnecting the overdrive switch as I don't ever use it.
Whatever you do, be very careful you don't lose the spring inside. The thing is jumpy.

The boot is from some black fabric I had. I just cut a hole in it.
I would use a sheet of black leather but I don't know where to buy it from.
Any ideas?

What do you guys think.

Never seen these until about a month ago.
I don't love them 100%, but they are somewhat appealing. Still like the F1 style better.

I meant converter instead of control...well close enough I guess. I think the problem hes having is running o/d when its "cold".

thanks for the replies guys.
I am just curious because I remember I wouldn't have this problem when I first bought the celi 2 years back.
but yea, it kicks into 4th gear when its running for awhile. just during start up.

only happens during the first 4-5 minutes after start up.
it stays on the third gear at speeds of 60-80mph with high but not harmful high revs.
and then all of a sudden, click, not 100% smooth transition, it goes into fourth.
overdrive is on all the time.

tranny going out on me?

wouldn't it be easier and cleaner just to heat the whole light up and remove the front lense, put the ring in, then replace the lense and seal it all up again ?

i have a sense of unease of doing that. the whole f-ing up the thing while removing the lens

and you feel better about drilling a whole into the housing?

take out your USDM lowbeam, practice taking it apart. when u feel u have it down, then do it to the jdm one.

awkwardly yes, lol
good point though

Does anyone the diameter of the circle opening to the lens?
