Hey all i'm looking at getting rid of my stock 205/55/r15 mega bald tires and replacing them with some 17's but i'm a bit confused on what aspect ratio and sizing details etc to get. I'm currently driving a 1995 celica sx in western australia so we really only get real dry weather, any ideas what measurements would suit best? |

QUOTE(celicaST @ Jan 22, 2007 - 11:32 PM) QUOTE(FallenHero @ Jan 20, 2007 - 7:52 PM) no intake on a celica is going to make any sort of difference. Save your money and invest in better mods... unless you want the sound and underhood look... in which case evilspeed did, at one time, make a CAI... Or you could make your own. evilspeed only makes it for the st if i remember. just do what i did, take out the stock aribox, buy a 2.5" coupling at lowes for shopvacs, and put on a kn filter. Ah mad st is equal to the aussie sx right? But yeah i was looking at some CAI's on ebay (zomg ebay i know) but even though it looks like it'l fit my st204 (This kit here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-95-96-97...QQcmdZViewItem) i emailed the people and they said it wouldn't lol. So is this evilspeed the way to go or does anyone else on planet earth make the CAI for my car lol. Also the whole hydro lock thing isn't a problem, i live in a very dry and hot city lol and the difference when my car is cool compared to when it's sitting outside at 40C is pretty noticble. My mates also getting a CAI for his elantra (Lolololol no chicks for him) and our cars are neck and neck so i've gotta match it with my own |

Hey all, i've been browsing around the internet for a bit now and was wondering what everyone thinks would suit my 1995 celica sx 5S-FE. Been to a few sites and havn't been able to find any cold air intake kits (A few SRI's though) to suit my car or any walkthroughs. I know my car is most likely similar to many others so any idea where i can get either of the two types of kit plus revelent infomation on installing them? Thanks tons guys. |

Hey people my tyres are extremly bald lol, i've spun at a 2000rpm start before and always find myself carenning into trucks at junctions lol. The time for new tyres has come i think. I've got a fairly mid to high range budget and i'm after some tyres (Also new 17" rims which i've yet to look around for) that are pretty damn sticky which will also last for a fairly decent amount of time. Currently living in Perth, Australia and would really appriceiate any sites or stores you guys could link for me, i've never gone tyre/rim shopping before lol and really know nothing of any of the brands. Thx all, |

Hey everyone. Something i've been trying to find on forums but so far havn't been lucky enough to is aftermarket replacement of car chips like ECU's and stuff. One search on ebay brings 1000's of aftermarket chips for celica but i no absoluetly nothing about them. Does anyone here use them and if so are they worth it/where can i get one in Australia? Any other info would be of great help too, thankyou |

Hey thx for replies, so glad to find aussies with celica's lol. But yeah living in Perth btw guys, what sities/shops do u guys get your gear from mostly btw. About getting new tyres n rims i'm actually in dire need of both seeing as i'm still using my stock rims with tyres balder than well (Insert sexual reference here) lol. Any idea where i can get my hands on some sweet rims and tyres either in perth or on the internet? I think it's probably best to replace them first before i do my intake/exhaust though thank you very much for the info on that. |

Hey guys total noob to the forums here. Currently living in Australia and yes i love the fact there is little to no aus celica clubs lol. I own a 1995 celica sx stock st204R u know the drill, got 2.2L and stuff haha Smile But yeah i'm faced with a problem, my car is entirely stock only just bought it and seeing as a turbo is out of the question for me i am looking to redo the air flow system of my car from intake to exhaust. So yeah my problem begins here, what to replace first? I've been trying to look into the gear my celica has but it's proving difficult so would anyone mind giving me a hand by pointing out where the main bottle necks are in the air system eg the cat converter, the extractor, exhaust, intake etc etc. But yeah i just don't want to say buy a new cat-back system to find not enough air is being taken in to allow the exhaust to take advantage of the new gear. Also any relevant sites to buy/research these parts would help me greatly. Thanks tons for your time guys!! |
