What weight fluid should i use when i change my manual tranny fluid. I know everyone recommends Pennzoil synchromesh, but i cant find that here, nor can i find redline. So what weight should i use, or what does the owners manual recommend (i dont have one).

i havent seen any threads on here about conga lines, but heres the deal; you get 5 people to complete an offer under you and you get a free gift. the offers are cheap usually $1-5 and the gift is usually something nice (in this case an ipod) but how they get you is they have recurring charges that that you get charged for whatever offer you dont cancel during the trial membership. if you dont cancel within your 30 days you get charged an annual rate which is like $100. Sounds too good to be true? it isnt cause it takes advantage of the fact that many people jump into it and never read that theyll have to pay the recurring charge if they dont cancel, and then they are stuck payin the extra, and if you do the math 6 people complete a conga and none are smart enough to cancel ~$600 - the cost of 1 gift ~250 they wind up w/ a profit of $350.

Link Removed.

for the offers i would recommend the shoppers advantage at the bottom of the page it only cost $1 for the trial and they send you a free cheapy mp3 player. just remember to cancel the trial after like a week or so.

you can hard wire the ipod to the factory sound system, only if you have the factory amplified system. You can buy the wiring harness adapter that you would normally would buy to put in an aftermarket HU then wire in RCA's to the speaker in connections on the harness. Connect the 12volt power to a resister and then to the remote wire on the harness. then buy the mini to RCA cord at bestbuy for likek $6. this way the factory amplifier is on when the ignition is on and you control the volume on the ipod.

Ive been reading some of the other members problems w/ their transmissions and have noticed that other people have had the same problem, when i engage the clutch then it starts rumbling, i thought it may be the throw out bearing, but the guy that quoted me said it wasnt cause it would continue to make the sound when the clutch was disengaged. what do you guys thing? could it be a bad throwout bearing, also about the synchromesh i havent had the tranny fluid changed in a long time so do you think i would stop this type of problem, the rumbling started after i put it in storage for 4 months so i dunno

QUOTE (Sev408 @ May 11, 2004 - 7:07 PM)
Besides what are you going to do when old man river azs rams you and kills your tail conversion. Because unless you pay extra on ur car insurance you will be dishing out all your money again to put some gay tails back on.

i say do what every you want, i wouldnt give a **** what other people think about my car, if you want s2000 tails i say go for it. Also, if someone did rear end you, their insurance would have to replace whatever is damaged regardless if its custom work, or just stock, so you could bank hardcore on that due to the fact you would prolly get a huge estimate on alot of custom work. (plus its illegal for a insurance company to force you to go to a certain place, so id be takin it to the best damn shop in town and gettin a nice huge estimate)

50s to 55s would hardly matter anyway...you can almost get that much of a difference just by having your tire psi off.

hatch has a hatch, and so the back seats can fold down. Coupe has a trunk, and the seats dont fold down.

i painted the calipers and stuff, it was easy, just alot of time. The sky was lookin really cool when i took them, the sun was settin right by the train bridge by my house by the time i finally got it all clean so i hurried out and took them. I was gonna go take them by the river but since its so low right now i went elsewhere. Also its nice to have a yellow car in Nebraska cause those yellow/orange plates look like ass on most other color cars.

Finally got around to taking some new pictures of my car, figured it was time since the old ones still had snow on the ground.. They arent real exciting, but i like the lighting on them. (they are really rough lookin cause i had to crop them from like 2500 x 2200 w/ nothin but paint, ill fix it some other time)
