It's a 1993 2ltr GT, SS1 jap import with 3s-fe engine. don't want to sound like a dummy but can you please explain TPS and AFM and what they do. Would those things have an effect only at cold running temp? Cheers

today i removed and checked the leads, plugs and distributor cap. all are working fine and although their was some slight carbon build on the plugs, nothing unusual to speak of. i cleaned them anyway. After putting it back together i still have the same prob. I'm at a loss of what to do next.

Hi, no misfire and starts up straight away. after starting it almost stalls but then goes to normal revs. It takes approx ten minutes to get to running temp. The idle feels as though there is a slight miss though. Cheers

Only on cold start and until the engine is a running temp. I have a problem with acceleration, not just slight hesitation but when i put the accelerator to the floor it crawls along for a few seconds then slowly starts to accelerate. I have had it in at toyota and they have replaced the O2 sensor and their is no other faults showing. I'd take it back but they are way too expensive for repairs or diagnosis. When at running temp the car is great. Not really sure what kinds of things could be causing the problem and only at that specific period when cold. Any help would be great. Cheers

My pre-cat oxygen sensor is faulty. I can't find a replacement anywhere. It has to fit the exhaust manifold on a Gen 6, st202 with 3sfe motor. Any help appreciated. Oh yeh its a 4 wire sensor. ps. Are the universal ones ok to use and what is the difference between them and the genuine part?

I'm patiently searching for a header to fit my 2l celica. It has to fit a 3sfe. Rare as hens teeth i presume, i've been looking for a week and no luck. Anyone know where they can be sourced?
