Pretty cool! I love the Honda bikes from the 70s and 80s. I have a Trail 70 that I've been working on little by little. |

Lol. I think they are just clueless as to how to "pop" the hood. It seems a lot of people who have cars like that don't really know jack about them. Just so long as it runs and still looks good. |

So BMW just wants to know how Toyotas get such good gas mileage lol..... At least that's what I took from that little bit of info. And yes, BMW parts are crazy expensive to replace. |

I have an RSX and am looking at my AWD options. But I will say, for FWD sport compacts, these little cars are great. -Much like the Celica, interior is still one of the nicest (even for a 10 year old car) -You have the very popular K20 that all the Civic kids are swapping into their car -Aftermarket and OEM replacement parts are pretty easy to find -I am a believer in hatchbacks after owning this car lol (so much cargo room for a 2 door) -Gas mileage is around 22-24 city (very little lead foot) -I've driven in the snow and these cars handle their own pretty well. The only thing I would be cautious of is a lot of times these cars are previously owned by kids that beat the crap out of them, so you need to look into the history (carfax, ect..). They are very reliable, but I have heard a few stories of people having quite a few problems people didn't find out about until after purchasing the car.(thats why I bout my car completely stock) Depending on the Civic Si you are looking at, the Ep3 is very comparable to the RSX. But the FA5 (06-10) have drive-by-wire and a few other options that make them a little more of a joy for car enthusiasts. |

Been messing around with the photo editing tools in Photobucket lately.... Amusement park that is no more: My sidekick. He's always behind me watching out for bugs and whatever other animals are around, but within a few feet! I swear every time I see a picture like this, I think the animal in it is just thinking "get that thing away from me". |

I went to go pick up the airbox but it had already sold, and apparently if you need a replacement filter, you have to contact Mugen directly in Japan. Still debating on picking up the Mugen Sportsuspension though. I'll say if the suspension is legit (with low miles), that's a really good deal. Great balance of performance and looks IMO. Just remember you'll need DC5 top hats if you use it on your EP3. |

okay...so heres a bit of a head scratcher. These guys listed on Kijiji (Canadian version of craigslist essentially), a authentic Mugen Airbox for a DC5 (RSX) for $100. It was missing the filter and part of the intake snorkel. But still...$100!!! They have a set of full Mugen sport suspension for a DC5 too for $500 that are MINT!...Something strange with them. Sketch...... My Mugen suspension used was 800, been looking at that same intake too, lowest is 400 (and thats a STEAL) |

The only 6th gens i see around town are big fart cans and big wings attempting to race and speed. " I've yet to meet a mature, non-arrogant Honda tuner that appreciates all cars." Nice to meet you I'm not saying I didn't love my 6th gen, but it was the car that was "riced" out the most and all i did was rims exhaust and lower it. : I love my new Civic, 200hp, 8k redline, 29mpg and a simple oem look. Truth. For the most part around here, if a car's exterior is "modded" in anyway, it usually has some ricey qualities. No matter what make or model. I've seen some pretty ugly (imo) Celicas as well as Civics, but on the flip side I also see the every once in a while clean looking cars and the owners are really cool ( again no matter the make or model). The majority of modifications any of us do can be considered "riced" depending on different people's perspective. When I had the Celica- I painted the wheels flat black, some people are really not a fan of that sort of thing, but I liked it. My RSX now- lowered on 5zigens, again some people would prefer that I didn't mess with the suspension or bought "racing" wheels, but I like them. To go along with that, the majority or the RSX boards people are all about hella-flush, so I get crap for not being that low. Oh well, its my car. |
