Only if the new HU uses the same harness as the old one. A wiring harness for an aftermarket HU consists of the half that comes with the HU (that plugs into it), and a vehicle-specific connector that connects to the stock connector (this part you have to buy if you have a stock HU, but you already have this as you have an aftermarket HU installed already). These two halves are wired together to form a harness from the stock connector to your HU's connector. If the harness (the end that plugs into your new HU) that comes with your new HU is different from the old one, you'll need to first remove the the old one from your vehicle-specific connector and then re-wire it to your new one to make the new harness. This process is real easy, just kinda repetitive as there are many wires to splice. If you are using an external amp(s), then you can skip the internal amp wires, which cuts down the splicing by like half lol.

I know this is a departure from the other posts, but when the car dies and you say it won't start for a while, the starter is kicking over still right (during the time the car doesn't start)? I drove a car that did do that, and it ended up being a bad battery.

LOL, both pronunciations are correct. I travel to Alberta alot and it's always pronounced "seleeka" here. In the US it's pronounced the other way. It's a difference between American and British english (just like using "ou" in colour and "re" in centre). Spanish speakers would most likely pronounce Celica as "seleeka" because i's are pronounced that way in Spanish.

...BUT, 2 post spoiler on the 95 is WAY better. wink.gif

3 post all the way biggrin.gif LoL I thought of trading in my 97 for a 99 a while back, but I'm too attached to my car to ever sell it (that and a 99 is only two years up tongue.gif ).

I stumbled across this site when making an unrelated google. You guys mean to tell me that I am not the only person in the world to still have a 6g Celica? LoL, seriously, I see maybe (maybe is stretching it) one other 6g a day in Dallas, and they usually are hard on the eyes (what is it with people not taking care of these cars???). Anyways, I own a 97 GT LB. All stock except for the audio. Even 10 years later I still haven't found a car I like better (besides the last gen Supra biggrin.gif).
