hey guys,

really hope someone knows the answer to this one.

changed my wishbone and ball joint and the steering alignment towed in, and the steering arm is fully wound in. changed the other side and the same thing happened. the wishbone and ball joint both looked correct, what the hell it's going on?

car is a 1995 2.0 GT

Well since no one has replied i'll update, I done a self dianosis with the car (with a guide i found somewhere on here, which involved a paper clip and watching the engine light flash) and it has told me that both my throttle position sensor and speed sensor(seems like a crank sensor) has an error code logged.

Anyone know of any online shops (for uk) who sell these?

Im going to give http://www.probedistributors.co.uk/ a ring tomorrow about it as their website is terrible but suggests you can get it there.

Hey, got a problem with my celica, if i hold the car at a steady rev of about 2k RPM the car judders back and forth like its about to stall, but doesn't and just judders violently (similar effect to if you tap the accelerator on and off) My friend suggested its the throttle position sensor, think that sounds right?

I've recently changed distrubution cap, rotary arm, spark plugs and HT leads. Problem persists, and can give a bad flat spot when reving.

Sorry to keep posting on this, but another question. The lambda in the car is bigger than the replacement, was yours kevstir?

Oh and Im getting the flange from gendan, really good service from them people! E-mailed me straight away about if they sold it or not, and was dispatched in a hour!

I wouldn't mind a tenner delivered, but its £15 all in! 5.00 for the flange with the VAT on top, and £9 for the delivery alone! I already have a lambda though, I don't want to have to buy another for £50 or so when i got this one for £16 on ebay.

10 quid postage on something that small frown.gif Getting 40 miles to a tenner now though so i think its my last chance, although i've read somewhere to clean the current lambda in paint thinners, so i'll try that first.

Another question, as i still havn't gotten around to changing it. Do i need the flange? Will the lambda I bought fit by tighting it in, or are the toyota orginal ones different? Yes my lambda came without a flange frown.gif

He he, that's the original link I sent to UncleBob - the link I sent in my reply to your PM with the colours mentioned will be better though cyborg - in fact post it up for all to see :thumbs:

**EDIT** Actually, ignore that - it's linked from the initial post wink.gif

Im not sure whats up with the celica club page, but im logged in and it still says i don't have permission to view the page. Any chance someone can post the info here? My problem is telling which wires are what on the car, so i can cut off the old lambda and join the new one on.

Lambda
Wire Colour-----Connection--------Car Wirecolour
Black========Signal========= ?
Grey========Earth========== ?
White========Heater========= ?
White========Heater ========= ?
