Does it drive under its own power at all?? just an exhaust. air filter nothing serious. the mechanic said he couldn even drive it off the lift without it slipping and making noise. |

QUOTE(94TRDcelica @ Mar 3, 2008 - 7:11 PM) Be carefull with the ebay clutches, most of them are just reconditioned ones! I was about to buy an Exedy stage 1 for my GT but when i spoke to my local motorsports garage who are direct suppliers of Exedy they said that that exedy don't make a clutch for my particular model of car. This was confirmed by contacting Exedy directly and looking on their website. I don't know anything about the beams though so can't help you with application. But rather than buying a new flywheel, unless your after a lightweight one (I reccomend fidanza) then just get it re-machined! In terms of clutches that do fir our celicas then I reccomend Helix stage 1 clutches for fast road use or jsut OEM replacement for mildy modified cars. Anything with a turbo and you will need a better clutch and as always you get what you pay for. With components such as brakes and clutches I would never buy from Ebay because you don't know what your getting - save the dosh and get a proper one from a registered dealer. Just my thoughts! thanks for feedback think im gonna stick with a stock clutch not running much more power than 220 so it should be ok and easy to drive. |

QUOTE(playr158 @ Oct 11, 2007 - 3:57 PM) you have to leave the black OEM top hat.... you are getting spring binding more than likely grease the top like crazy with bearing grease...or you completely screw up the install ya the spring is coiling up and snapping back into place when you turn. sounds like the springs might be too short tho. are you sure you didn mix up the springs |

so if you call drive shafts axels what do you call the axels. strange... boot/trunk tranny/gearbox bonnet/hood shocks/strut discs/rotors e-break/handbrake muffler/backbox manifold/header this gets confusing |

QUOTE(95CelicaST @ Oct 4, 2007 - 10:29 AM) now if you're convinced that your stock suspension is suitable to 80+MPH cornering then by all means stick with it... but try taking 7 or 8 consecutive sharp corners and hold your speed. Thats where coilovers help out. alot |
