Hey guys, i got rid of my beautifully tuned st202 gt back in 2009 due to a driving ban, but now all the cars i've had since then doesn't match the emotional attachment i had to my previous celica. So i need to buy one, autotrader doesn't show up with any decent examples, has anyone here have or know someone who is selling an st202 celica gt? preferably with the mileage under 100k, preferably red but black will be ok also, please guys if u know where i can get one please do get in touch.

hey sorry for the late reply,um yeh the car has a dizzy cap, and i dnt get any warning lights or anything like that, everything just seems normal..i havent driven the car because i'm currently on a driving ban, but i tried to start it to park in my friends garage and thats wen i encountered the problem (just incase ur wondering why the hell i havent sorted the car out yet)

Hey guys, i've got abit of a problem which i can't figure out, when i start the engine, it cranks, it sparks, it makes all the right noises but it just doesnt fire up, as in it goes through the whole ignition sequence fine but it just stays there, the engine is obviously cranking over but it just keeps crankin over without firing up, i have just under a quarter tank, battery and alternator are fine, the car was running perfect one day,and then the nxt it isnt..i cant figure it out,someone help, i got a date in 3 days and i need this fixed,thanx alot peepz..

has anyone looked into gettin headers from hks? they look brilliant and apparently are one of the best, i aint too sure about these claims,anyone ever had them fitted?

where can i order that spoiler from?

guys i'm having a problem with plugs, i had denso iridiums in the car and the car was runnin great,then i swapped them out for some nology silver plugs and i've noticed the torque in low revs have dropped..have i made a mistake in swappin the plugs..?

LOL you guys are harsh..mate i think Hanyo is right..if u want to be taken seriously about this electric supercharger ur gona need to post up proof, one run without the charger and another with the charger..the difference should be pretty obvious if it works..and if it does by a favourable margin which i'm pretty sure by now everyone seriously doubts, then i'm sure every person on here will be ebaying their asses off the next day tryna get a charger..

i remember when that happened to me, on my way back from work at 11pm,not a single red light or hiccup from the car,pull over at a petrol station to buy cigarettes and next thing,click,car refused to start,i was at that petrol station for 4 and a half hours because the nearest breakdown recovery van was 300miles away stuck in traffic..!! and i had to be at work for 6am the following morning, me and my car had temporarily lost our friendship..

i was reading the posts earlier in the thread about speeding. I don't whats different with my celica to the rest of here because my car flat out at 140mph handles completely fine,its very stable and sometimes i do break heavily from that speed while racing and the brakes and the car stays dead straight and stable,no twitchin,no problems. I duno what you guys r talking about. Mind you,my car has been lowered quite abit,40mm actually. - M4 MOTORWAY,best spot to race..

If any of u have seen the movie Warrior King with Tony Jaa,towards the beginning of the movie theres abit wen tony jaa gets arrested and is in the back of a police car,the car approaches a building and some gangsters that tony recognises walks out and straight into a maxed up celica,it has a veilside bodykit and its two tone purple..looks sick..

Are larger throttle bodies available for the celicas? i didnt know that, where can u get them from..?

My car has the same problem,not so much the vibration but after a while i start to hear some sort of clicking racketing noise coming from the passenger side of the car,u can only hear it from the inside,i was thinking maybe something has just loosened but sayin that,it would the noise right from the start n not after a while,oh i duno,gonna get my mechanic to check it out soon..

Speed limit cut-off,defence,HKS, Greddy and Blitzs do them..if not speak to someone who does remapping..they should be able to sort you out..

is it a bad thing if its too tight..?or will i just know wen i adjust it to how much it will actually tighten to..?

How about this, take a look at ur standard regulator..note down how many bolts are holding urs down..what type of plate r the bolts screwed into and then give FSE a call..they will build you one from scratch specific to ur vehicle and it will fit perfectly no problem..its a UK number so its +441784493555..they should be able to do u one for about £90 which works out to about $190..

Engine side..? i'm having sorta da same problem..good thing blk94gt put up this topic..is the nut on the throttle cable linkage connecting to the throttle body or am i missing smething..?

I know for my celica its about 120-150 quid in the UK ..thats the highest that can be charged so my guess is for the US ur looking at smething like 300 dollars..

What is the regulator called and where did you buy it from..? Because i know there are some that are abit hard to fit, i cant even get one for my celica since its a 96..anywhere..it has to be built from scratch by a company called FSE..send the details of ur regulator..i might be able to help you out..

blow ur car up wen u've parked it..then u'll know for sure no one will steal it..except u will have to buy a new car..so this is pretty much ****e in terms of being helpful..um..how about hook up with one of them alarm systems that sets ur car thief friend on ur fire wen they try to break in..

I think i need to do the same..i might need to have my valve springs adjusted coz i get the same thing..its not as bad..if anything u can only hear it when the engine is cold..buy the way..why is it when ur runnin low on petrol and u unscrew the petrol cap u get a little rush of air shoot out..?my car isnt farting is it..?

Here in London all the tuners run their cars on Shell V Power,its got a 97 octane rating..its mental..
