Hi guys. Thanks for those who expressed interest in this meet. Unfortunately the date was just wrong and the event organizer was unable to pill it together in time. However, that isn't to say we can't postpone it to a later date. I, myself, was caught up in a horrible 3 month period of work where I had exactly two weekends off. Not to mention having sold both my Celicas has put me out of the loop.

But my schedule should be clearing up this month and I could try to make an attempt to redo this for August? For those of you who remember, we had a huge turn out a couple of years ago. BBQ, a model, some games, prizes, etc...it was fun. So make a post expressing your desire for a reboot in August. If there is interest, I'll put in the time to book a location and get this meet going.

So....you want me to add anything to this event? Like...some neat give-aways?

So yeah....when's the date set to? I need to squirm out of 2 days of work to make this one...not easy thing for me to do.

The tenth Celica didn't show up until 9:45 pm. Good thing four of us decided to stick around just in case a few stragglers decided to show up late.

Yeah, grand ave. People should head out by ten...meet will.start then. Stupid rain needs to go away.

The shirts do not have names in them. There will be three different designs, you'll get one of the three randomly. If you want any of the others, you can either buy them or win them.

For those going to TORC, you can pick up one from me on Saturday morning and then wear it to the meet as well.


I will be bring the lighter, charcoal, canopy, utensils to cook with, sitting canes, and random foods.

Guys make sure to keep checking the 1st post on this thread as that is where i will be updating the information!

If you are bringing a guest (or guests) please speak up then we can have a rough idea on the number of people coming so we know the amount of food needed.

So I need to decide what to make as this year's FotY free give away. We've done t-shirts for the two meets last year. Derrick suggested that we get one new article of clothing each year, so that after a few years, we can have a whole outfit of Celica related souvenirs. We're leaning towards shorts. So I need everyone's short/pants sizes by April 1st. You have two weeks to send me your size or you NOT be getting anything. I need an exact count so I can place the order.

Last year's location for Moty was good, but people didn't like the $8 entrance fee. So the location will be around that area again. And unless people can get their schedule to us, we will only consider NorCal dates, since we will be the ones driving down from further away. Also, it may be a Sunday event, which gives NorCal Saturday to drive down, rest, and be ready for a Sunday meet.

Getting a hotel for all the NorCal people sounds good, or we can crash at a campsite on Saturday. But yeah, Derrick's place is far and I don't feel like adding 4 more hours of drive time.

I'm typing this on my Android phone which keeps subbing words. So I don't conquer with your grammar policing

I'll bring the major stuff like charcoal, cooking utensils, canopy, etc. Basically what everyone else will forget to bring.

I'm super busy with work, so haven't looked into the details of the meet...but yeah, SoCal seems good. Saturday most likely. Spring date. I'll need to know how many people will be attending before committing to shirts and attendance give-aways.

How about an overnight meet in Vegas? Been mulling the idea with some fellow SoCal members about this...might work if the timing is right.

Oh, I guess the 7th gens don't make it too welcoming to us 6GCs...not to say they aren't friendly, but it's like they have no interest in our cars at all (we might as well be hondas for all they care).

Sorry for the confusion, everyone. The shirts are mine (designed by ZEROCOOL). These were offered at MotY back in June but I was lazy to post the For Sale thread myself so I asked an associate of mine to sell them on the forum for me.

Manny, if you want me to personally sell these shirt myself, let me know. But I just don't have the time or energy to check my PMs everyday hence attroc selling the shirts for me.

ZEROCOOL and I are in the process of designing more shirts in the future (when I get my lazy butt off the couch).

Oh, and yeah my living room is a mess...that happens when you only spend 2 days a week at home
