SS-III front splitters, original JDM polyurethane, black

TRD rear splitters, replica glass fiber, new not installed

I received these from doGGy two years ago. Unfortunately I crashed my celica the same winter so I never used them.

They are in Levanger, Norway. Was thinking 2500 NOK or a bid. Reach me at +47 95423299 or aleksander.eide@gmail.com

Best regards,
Aleksander

PS. I miss you, Celica Community frown.gif

my friend tinted mine by using black spray paint and paint thinner..

now we just brushed it on.. adding coats until it was the darkness I wanted..

but now he uses the model spray kit (walmart) and it make a much more even tint.

I first saw the celica in the Sega Rally arcade machine. They had chairs and stuff and I played on them when I was a kid - always preferring the celica of course. Those machines still exist in several places, they must be 10 years old.

That's from where I got interested in the celica in the first place smile.gif

Hmz.. I just got a PM from someone who wants pics of installed car parts for his website? confused.gif

Those looks to have the shape just like the TRD skirts to me. The 404a ones are more "blocky" in the front end as far as I know. Is that urethan? I envy you!! bowdown.gif

This is wat I've done:

Drilled a hole in the high beam housing,
put a light in it of 5Watt
Looks nice smile.gif Did you use the same kind of 5W bulbs and connections that's used in the "Position lights" of the Low projectors? (The lights you have on in the first pic). Do you have a pic of the High projector housing? wink.gif

During day time I'm usually driving with just the fog lights and the position lights on, I think it looks kinda cool wink.gif But if I had position lights in both the highs and the lows it could maby look even cooler? wink.gif

I was going to create a new thread but this one was very similar to the problem I have. I don't mean to capture your thread or anything, NickJames.

Is there any way to adjust the height of the beam of the 'high' lights? Both of my high beams point way too low! They hit the ground almost at the same point as my 'lows' do, wich is adjusted at the farthest ahead "0" setting. Here in Norway it's completely pitch black almost half the day at these times of year, and driving without proper lighting is dangerous (even more so at high speeds with wet asphalt..) I've just had the car for a couple of months, so I haven't noticed this before now. I tried screwing the long screws that stands out in the back of the lights but I didn't notice any difference.. Any hints would be a life saver smile.gif

Each housing has 2 adjustment bolts. Up/Down and Left/Right. Just turn your lights on and your high beams. Point them at the side of your house or a building. And start adjusting them with box wrenches.

So it is these long bolts anyways then? Thank you very much! I'll do that today.

You have potentially saved lives today mister wink.gif

This mod was also done on my car by a previous owner, I can take some photos if anyone wants! My experience with it is overall just ok, if only the start-ups wouldn't be so rough. There is some kind of 'clank!' when the motor is started. I just might need to tighten something up though... My windows are loose when they are lowered anyways - I gotta get that fixed soon.

I also think the engine seems to stay warm for a long time, since you got to wait 20++ minutes after shutdown before checking the oil level to get the correct reading.. ?? tongue.gif I thought it was normal with 10 mins or so smile.gif

My local styling shop said they've recently stopped doing business with Erebuni because Erebuni is supposedly going bankrupt..

They told me to find my things as VIS Racing instead. They have much of the same stuff as Erebuni just with different names.

Dunno if VIS have the TRD-lookalike spoiler tho.. This is the right category:

I googled the engine and ended up here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_MZ_engine

Clicking from there I found the Highlander Hybrid.. (it uses the 3MZ-FE engine) Oooh I want a hybrid system! biggrin.gif

Clicking further I also saw the Camry have a 2GR-FE 3,5 liter V6 with Dual VVTi and 268 bhp.

Something for the celicat? There should be a complete list of "compatible" engines on this site! smile.gif

I use about 0.65 liters per 10 km when driving long. Google http://www.google.no/search?hl=no&q=0....n+mpg&meta= says that is around 36 MPG. I'm sure I could do better if I don't drive past people all the time and drive more economicaly.

I think it's strange how almost all you americans use one liter of fuel per 10 km biggrin.gif All the time!?

Okey I see! I can actually buy that 404A kit from a nearby dealer - for 9590 kr.. ~ 1,635 usd..
http://www.styling-tech.no/goxpage00000019dbp404a.html

But I'm not sure if that lip is good looking.. (so huge!?) And all the pics availible are so small. Do you know of anyone who has the 404A lip/kit? I will search for some more photos!

Edit: sorry for hijacking the thread. Searching is a good thing. Lot's of folks with 404 stuff here. Have a nice day smile.gif

Does it also bolt on to my -97 hatchback? Because my front is different from that on the pic. Also would it look good in black you think?

This is my car: http://home.no/oomg/pics/celica/DSC00123.JPG

Hi! I just joined now. I bought a black -97 ST hatch last week biggrin.gif

Borghe : Where can I buy those side skirts? And also, what are "splitters"? Can they be put right on the original bumpers? Where can I buy those?

And where can you get such clean wipers on front and rear? biggrin.gif

Thanks!

Very nice car! wink.gif
