I'm looking for a pair of low beams with fully intact tabs (no cracks, etc). If possible, the black seals for the lows would be appreciated as well.

Not on here too often as a result of work and grad school, so I may be best reached via email: amanda.pugh3@gmail.com

sent you an email

replace the whole axle. a lot of aftermarket stores offer lifetime, or some sort of warranty as stated above.

I was wondering if anyone had a creative way of fixing the surfs that the fuel and brake lines to the under chassis.

Clutch switch is wired from the starter fuse in the interior fuse box to the ignition starter switch. Car won't start with out the the complete circuit. If the wiring is correct and the plug is wrong just solder the wires to the switch together. Just make sure you start your car safely (out of gear foot on brake).

Exactly what I had to do for my 3SGE swap. Soldered in a line from the starter switch to the relay point in the engine bay.

Works like a charm, just have to make sure its never left in gear (which I was used to before, because I had command start biggrin.gif )

... And all your friends are like woah what's going on here he can start his car without the clutch pushed in

I think it's your best bet... Just make sure the wires are tucked so they don't get caught up when you shift

The car does start! When the key is at the "run" position it turns the engine over and the starter does not disengage. When the key is turned to the "start" position the starter releases. I'm thinking the switch went bad... Could there be a relay problem? Any help is appreciated.

i figured this one out. i was the starter relay grounds. i did a continuity test and found they were no good. rerouted them and now the world keeps turning.

when you were bleeding them did you...

1. close the bleeder with pressure in the system... (like the pedal was depressed, or you had the fluid under the pressure of vacuum)
2. no air bubbles were visible in the fluid
3. keep the brake fluid reserviour full (didn't go below the minimum fill line)

i do not think you will need to change injectors. safc will aid in the fuel management. guys often take the abilities of the stock injector for granted.

as the title states interior lights (dome and door) do not work along with the clock. fuses seem to check out. i think it has to do with the integration really located in the inter fuse box... any helpful info is greatly appreciated.

thanks!

ST front mount works just fine in a GT.

Have you thought about poly inserts instead of new mounts ?
You don't need new mounts for them, you can use your old cracked ones.
They make a huge difference.

as a former mechanic i have a lot of every brand. obviously snap on, mac, matco, and cornwell are pretty good brands; top of the mark, but you pay for the service, as well as the name. on the other hand tools are a personal thing... it boils down to what works for you and what you can afford. i hate snap on ratchets (matco 88 tooth all the way). most of my sockets are craftsman. as for lower end brands i craftsman, cobalt, husky etc... they make nice tools. even pittsburgh tools from harbor freight have a life time warranty.

tool sets are ok, sometimes i dig out my old craftsman box set for a standard socket that i don't have in my regular set; however i like the pice as you go method. again all comes down to what you can afford and what feels good. check out craigslist and keep searching ebay. you can score big! best of luck!
