Great job on the swap I want to try the same thing sumtime in the future I hope. Was it hard to swap it in? did u have alot of bugs to work out? Was there any additional steps that needed to be taken because this swap was a st215 engine not the st205 engine? FWD? |

How is the pull with the 650cc injectors? Does that turbo only hit like 15 psi max? Do you have a write up on some of this besides what you have as a part list in the begging? Have you tried pump gas with those new injectors? Sorry for all the questions I'm still learning lol |

Can you swap over the black top beams in to the celica? I know people will say if you have $$ everything is possible. Im asking if its a ton of work because I think a 6spd black top rwd beams would be awesome. Theres one on youtube that said it has 600bhp idk not sure if its true but i know they can hold turbo pretty well. Theres one w/ a 66 garrett or sumin I believe sorry Idk much about turbos. I just wanted to know if its a direct swap from the Altezza to the celica or if theres a lot more custom fabrication taking place cause about 4k for the 6spd tranny engine and front and rear assembly it sounds like a deal to me. Ill keep researching to see how to manage this. |

Ok so I've been looking for a cheap way to deaden sound cause as we all know it the celi is a sports car and not meant to have too much weight but I cant stand road noise. I live AZ past couple days its been 110 and above. "Sorry not tryn to bore u" Anyways my roof gets so hot even with a/c on full blast it takes like 20mins to cool down maybe 5 degrees. My a/c works fine. I decided to do some research on some sound deadener cause I have a sub as well. I found out that stuff also helps to stop heat which made since to me if the panel is thicker it will take a while to heat up. I had read that this air duct insulation wrap does the same deal. So I researched it its called "Frost king" thats the brand anyway. Both Lowes and Home depot sell it. I went to Lowes cause it cheaper. You can get 12" and 15ft of it for like 15. I took off my headliner yesterday day and broke my visor in the process t was sun baked oh well. I scraped off the old padding in there. Afterwards I got and old clean rag and soap and water and scrubbed off any sticky residue and dirt did it 3 times to be safe. Then I dried it with another old clean rag. Then started applying it since it has a sticky side u dont need glue. It stuck on there real well i had enough to do it twice. All I can say is that it feels cooler inside and my bass sounds cleaner. You can try it yourself its not too tough. I only did the roof cause thats all the money I had but i thiunk Im going to do my whole car. The material is pretty light weight. |
