what year is your vehicle...i don't think this generation had an immobilizer from toyota... the way to check it out...insert the key into the ign cyl-leave it in the off/lock position...try to remote start the vehicle with the key in the cyl...let me know what happens...(if you hear the starter cranking, if it starts, then dies out...etc)... |

QUOTE(kerosene @ Aug 16, 2007 - 10:22 AM) will the 530 work with an avital system? the 530t is a universal module...it can be used as a stand alone unit to gain one touch operation, and can be used in conjunction with an alarm for remote window control...as long as the avital system has an armed output, it can control the remote window up function...if the avital has an avail ext out, it can control the remote window down function |

QUOTE(MauiBuilt @ Aug 15, 2007 - 12:39 AM) Does anyone have the Kenwood DDX-8019 DVD Receiver? If so, is it possible bypass the safety feature on viewing movies while driving? been out of the industry since 05 so not quite sure with this exact model...if it is like the 05 kenwood models, it will have a green wire that is supposed to be attached to the parking brake sensor...ground this wire and the screen should still be active...don't know if kenwood went to the gyro sensor method...are you on maui? if you are, see derek @ certified sounds-he'll be able to help you. |

QUOTE(Celica_Kid95st @ Aug 15, 2007 - 11:58 AM) Do instructions come with the part? And also if I were going to install another one-touch switch on my drivers side for my passenger side window, would I need 2 of these modules? Thanks John it should come with instructions...very straight forward installation...DO NOT get the 529t from that posted link...pick up a 530t...this allows one touch up/down for driver's and pass side windows...to get one touch from the pass side switch, you must run 4 wires into the pass side door. |
