Every car the transmission has to be dropped to change the clutch, AWD is just a real pain since it's like doing a clutch job for a FWD and RWD car all in one. If you mechanically savvy I'd look into doing it myself, that or maybe you have friends or family that could help you out. I'm somewhat Savy but not enough for a clutch job. Can't afford to have the car down for a few days if things go sideways haha. Thanks! |

If your car is mostly stock I'd just go with the Koyo o.e. replacement, the original plastic tanked radiator made it this long so the next should outlive the car. Especially being you need a clutch soon the money saved between an o.e. replacement and a good aftermarket radiator would cover a clutch kit. Good call. That's what I'm going to do. From what I've read, ST205 clutch jobs can be long, like 15-20hrs at the shop because the gearbox needs to be removed? Might have to pass the car onto someone else and move on if that's the case... |

Sure thing! If you go to autozone and order one for a 94-99 GT celica it's the same size, core thickness and outlet locations as the 205. Had the same issue with my swapped ST not long ago. Hope this helps! Yup, radiator for the ST204 be the same. I want to say Koyo makes an o.e. replacement, I'd go with them if I were buying new. I'd say buy an aluminum one will you're at it. More expensive but worth it. Thats awesome. Thanks a lot! I will look into getting one from an st204. My clutch is slipping too so I have to address that also. One thing after another... |

The radiator on my ST205 is leaking. I tried pouring in the stop leak fluids with aluminum bits to seal it but it didn't work. Does anyone know the OEM part number for a new radiator? Does the ST205 have the same radiator as a more common toyota that I can find at a junk/parts yard? If so what model and year? Any help would be much appreciated. |

Thanks everyone! The problem seemed to resolve itself without me doing anything but I will check the grounds and sandpaper as suggested to prevent it from happening again. |

Had 7 st205s and my rule of thumb is 35p offset minimum, anything greater looks ugy sunken in. Even 35 isnt wonderful but looks reasnable Thanks, 5mm spacers cleared the front calipers by a few hair widths. The rears didn't need them but i have some bolt on spacers coming to make them a bit more flush. |

So recently my ST205 has been acting up. While driving, the engine check, oil and overheat light turns on and off. So does the led for my car alarm. The dash just keeps clicking away and my car deck and subs turn on and off. The car starts up and runs fine otherwise... Can anyone advise me on what to do? |

Thinking of picking up 18 x 7.5" with a +42 offset going on an ST205. I just want to be able to put it on and drive it home. Will it clear stock struts and calipers? |

Looking to get a set with tires. Was wondering if anyone knows if it will clear my stock calipers. 18" x 7.5". +42 offset. Will it look too sunken in? Will i need spacers? I skimmed through the flush fitment thread and I'm not sure if i came across fitment for ST205. (at work and can't search too much) I'm okay if it's sunken in, as I can deal with that later. I just don't want to drive 50+ km to get rims that won't clear my calipers. Thanks! |

Gas pump with the two sender units (one operates the idiot light, the other operates the level gauge) is easily accessible. Pull rear seat bench, remove highly visible covers. Simplest fix -- buy a replacement sender unit and, well, replace. Thanks! Do you happen to know the part number for a sender unit for the st205? F10 FUEL SENDER 1-2 : APPROX. 3 ohms AT FUEL FULL APPROX. 110 ohms AT FUEL EMPTY remove rear seat and access panel, unplug sender, with fuel tank full or close to empty check resistance. if its ok replace guage. or get a resistor around 50 ohms put it in pin 2 (i think) and ground it, you should end up with about half tank reading on guage, if not replace it. Thanks! I will try this in a few days and post again if I run into any problems |
