The turbo was off the car ... its a long story ....

Ok, i need to get rid of my car... its just sitting in my driveway, i've spent over $25k over the years on this car... getting rid of it for $3900 AS IS.... it is 94 with 3rd gen motor...the turbo got stolen, so it currently has 3SGE Header on it.... the Motor Turns on... the car will idel forever but for some reason as soon as i stick it in gear... the car dies... anyway, i dont have time to play with it and i got my bmw 135i running 12.1@114 so investing more money in this car doesnt make any sence for me.... i love it but i gotta let it go...

anyway, it runs as is, AC even works, but to make it turbo again you need manifold, turbo, piping, intercooler, wastegate and your good to go ... car has standalone and forged pistons ....so depending on turbo you can easily squeeze 400+HP out of it...most of these parts can easily be sourced on ebay....

Body needs paint job and a little bit of work... interior is in pretty good shape...

Someone asked me a few questions on a pm... here is a quick FAQ ...

1. Do you have any recent pics of the car in its current condition? I would like to see some pics of the interior.

I'll take some for you, maybe even a video... the interior is good except the seats need to be re-apolstered... they have the usual tear on the left side ...


2. How is the exterior, are there any major dings or scratches? Rust?
No rust, i live in miami... 2 dings... the front left fender (left headlight was also broken but still works ) , and the left door, but they can easily be fixed... fender used is 60 on this forum...

3. What does the car need now besides a new turbo to get it into good condition?
Thats it, turbo, intercooler, BOV , and tunning and its gonna be a beast...

4. What parts are going to need to be replaced in the next year or so?
NONE, everything on it is new

5. How is the transmission, how many miles are on the transmission?
i bought the motor with 30 or 40 k miles on it, and i added 20-30 myself ...

6. What condition is the clutch in?
Clutch is good, grips perfectly...

7. Where is the cd player in the car, I can't tell from the pics?
I have the stock one, plus a few other ones that i can install for you ...

8. What kind of gas mileage are you getting running on x amount of psi?
if you dont floor it around you can get 20-25mpg , i used to drive to orlando(about 275 miles) with 3/4 of a tank @ 70mph or a tank and a half @ 120 - 135 mph ... plus with the boost controller you can choose what psi to run on with a press of a button... i might also have the wheel mounted button somewhere for the profac b...

9.Do you have a modified fuel rail?
NOPE... you only need a fuel rail if you plan on doing over 450hp and if you want to use top feed injectors instead of the side feed ones...

10. What turbo did you used to have on the car?
It dynoed 295 with the ct20b , and after that i installed a turbonetics t3/t4 60-1 and didnt have a chance to dyno it...

11. What type of downpipe do you have?
I have a custom down pipe and exhaust for the t3/t4 (5-bolt) with port for external wastegate (it was made for an external wastegate set-up)... which you may or may not be able to use for your new turbo set-up

12. Do you have any more information about the standalone ecu that's installed?
I have all the manuals somewhere, with notes from the mechanic that installed them ... but you can get alot of info from thier website www.sdsefi.com, i just checked it out right now, there is an upgrade for the sds that can get the car even running smoother...

also note: this is one of the few SWAPS with perfectly working AC ... i dont know if its the case now but before whenever people were doing swaps , allot of them could'nt get the AC to work..

thats my problem, i dont have time to install all that... i can get the shocks and springs installed for you with no problem... everything else i dont have time to do, thats why i am selling the car...

as far as the turbo ... you can easily install an upgraded ct26 on it for up to 300-350 whp, or for a little bit more install a t3/t4 for 350-450 hp... the head is stock, so there is still allot you can do to that car to reach 500-600 hp ... and i am selling it for allot less than it cost me for the swap alone .... i paid 9000 for the swap, and 2000 for the pistons ...

The motor is in there... it dynoed 295 with stock pistons and turbo.... its currently naturally aspirated but you can easily turbo it again.

Ok, I am selling my project car... its a 94 celica st, the car has only 115k on it, the motor was recently rebuilt and has less than 20k on it ... its the perfect project car, all you need is a Turbo and you can easily put out 400 whp ... all the supporting mods are there... i just dont have the time to play with it anymore, and i need a nice luxury car to drive clients in ... I am asking $7,500 now - $7,000 without the stuff thats not installed or $9,500 if finish it myself .

okay, the awd to fwd can and has been done, but you lose half the HP... so its pointless... the best thing to do is go with the mr2 turbo motor/tranny... mounting the mr2 is defenatly allot easier than awd to fwd and the mr2 tranny makes one of the strongest FWD trannies ever...

defenetly go with the mr2 clip.... mr2 tranny is the best one to use for these swaps... its supper strong and has LSD, it takes more work to mount, but its worth it...

and there is a 3rd gen mr2 3sgte... i have it in my car...never have any problems with the tranny, i ran 295whp on stock clutch and flywheel with no problems...... in the end the mr2 tranny makes it worth the extra work...

You will defenetly beat him... if he is stock... you got more power and a way better drivetrain... the tranny on those things are weak as ****... you can launch harder and you got way more power than him stock.... i dont see that car winning unless he has done weight reduction or has allot of engine mods or is just a way better driver than you...

Has anyone snaped the axels on thier gt-4? at any horsepower, in any driving condition? doing anything? ..also, how does the rear differentail hold up? this question is for 6th gen gt-4s, no 5th or 4th...

just buy them brand new for like a $100, the kyb gr2's are about $50 each at most retailers... so the back ones are like a 100 and they are easy as **** to install..

doesnt matter if its not in a FWD car.. one motor is just way more capable than the other...

also: there is one in a fwd 7th gen celica pushing 640hp+

add a turbo to an rsx and i can still beat ... ive destroyed one of the cybernation's turbo rsx type S on the highway... it was a short race thou... i was a car ahead of him and gaining until my shifter mest up... because of vibrations, some pin flew off and i could'nt shift into 4th gear ... but i ****ed him up in 2nd and 3rd... i was doing about 13-15 psi on 93 octaine with octaine booster... The good thing about turbo engines, is that you can always turn up the boost... if the rsx does beat you... just get some octaine booster and turn up your boost... also if you use a stock ECU, try to get the boost cut defender asap. and dont shift into 2nd until the wheels stop spinning...
