I'll take the FR-S without the "optional co-driver" upgrade shown. biggrin.gif

PS: That 2JZ looks so at home in that bay.

Haha, she was one of the Exedy models from Formula D Atlanta who stopped by to check out the car

We as long as I'm not the only that feels that way it's all good. tongue.gif I'm kind of curious as to what degree the 2JZ effects the handling and balance of the FR-S.

We haven't finished the swap yet. Once we do, I'll post some new pictures.

Errr pics??

Haha, I didn't think pics would be necessary for this car considering it's history on these forums.

Also, whoever does buy this car will have a NASTY street car if the boost issue gets resolved. After I put the first (technically 2nd) engine in it at 18psi, she would spin through 3rd gear.

I think it's about time to get this thread back up and going! I havent been able to do to much to her, seeing as how I now work at Tweak'd Performance, and Doc has a strict "no honda" policy tongue.gif LOL just kidding, but seriously.

ok.. i guess ohio doesnt require them then. but i think some cities in ohio do bc i know a few ppl on campus that are from cleveland, and they have their cars inspected annually

Ohio does not have an annual state inspection. The reason your friend who lives near Cleveland had to have an "inspection" is for E-check. They basically put your car on a "dyno" (its basically just rollers in the floor) Run your car with a sniffer in the tail pipe and check emissions. I lived in Ohio for the past 5 years, and have friends in the Cleveland, Mentor, Painesville area. They all have to do that because they are so close to the city. Other states like PA, where I'm originally from have an annual state inspection. Your car must pass this inspection to be legal to drive on the roads. They check to make sure all your lights work properly, tire tread depth, brake thickness, ball joints and various other things, your HORN even has to work or they will not pass your car. Sorry for the complely off topic rant, but I thought I would clarify a few tid bits wink.gif

I have a MOMO one piece racing bucket. Model: START. I need to get rid of this asap. I have no use for it at this time, and that's the only reason I'm selling her. I'm asking $250. This seat has NEVER been mounted on rails. It's production date is 2006, but its still NEW. Never has been in a car or used. I'd prefer NOT to ship it, but for the right price, I will be willing to consider. I'm located in South Carolina near Charleston.

Hey all, just wanted to let you all in on a new job opportunity that I've stumbled across. Those of you who are regulars on the site know Dr Tweak and Phoenix Tuning. Well, I'm heading on down that way in a week and a half to talk to the Doc himself about possibly becoming part of his company! Nothing is set in stone yet, but I'm hoping for the best! Wish me luck!

I still plan on trying to make it. I'm not sure if Brent will be able to now or not. Hes gone for the next 2 weeks in Louisianna, then back in Ohio for one week, then to Vegas for another week. I think the weekend of the meet is his only weekend here and plans on going to the Hell City Tattoo Convention. If Brent doesnt go, I'm going to try and talk him into letting me bring his Celica!

Build the car the way YOU want it. If you do what you want, it will stick out. Trust me. I have a Honda Civic for a daily driver...ok, so its built and turbo'd but its still my daily. SOO many people look at it, and on the outside its STOCK!!! aside from Mugen lip and CF hood. Make your car fit YOU, and people will notice it.

or paint it snot green.

I take daily vitamins, along with 16oz milk in the morning, 16oz milk with 1 scoop whey protein (30g) before and after a workout. Also, watch your daily diet, that will have a lot to do with losing weight and building muscle. My diet consits of maily chicken, pork and extra lean beef. I also do eat a decent amount of pasta for the carbs. Carbs are a good source for engery. Check out the website www.bodybuilding.com. They have some great meal plans that are setup for everyones specific goals. My goals were to tone up and build a little muscle, I'm a skinny kid haha. With eating right and going to the gym, I lost about 10lbs of fat but gained about 6 back in muscle in 3 weeks. Also, A guy that I met at the gym that I go to used to be a personal trainer. he gave me a set of workouts to do DAILY at home. They are great. If you want to know more about them, just let me know. Good luck!

QUOTE (cjh4l22 @ Mar 7, 2010 - 8:37 PM) *
so for everyone who swapped i was curious what sort of exhaust setups you are running as I plan mine. descriptions would be much appreciated as I have several questions.
first. using an aftermarket downpipe, does anyone know if an st185 (all-trac) mid-pipe or b-pipe (goes from downpipe, under axle above under carriage etc..) will fit?? I need that flex section taken care of but I'd prefer not to take it to a shop.
thanks for any advice you might have and info about your current setup.

There is a thread somewhere on here that is specifically for custom exhaust setups. Also, if you look at Brent's (SeverX13)thread on his turbo build, there are some pictures on how we set up his downpipe, which was all custom made, and also the rest of his exhaust system. I personally took pictures from Manny's (presure2) thread on his turbo build TO the exhaust shop when I had them do Brent's exhaust. The shop we took Brent's to charged around $300 for a downpipe back setup. HOWEVER, we provided the catalytic converter and also the muffler for them, so that also cut down the costs a little bit.

Um apply for a new license and use the temp paper license they give you until the new one comes in the mail?

Logic > Driving without a license

It would be easy to do that if he wasn't in another state from the one his license is issued in. Either way, the cops in Ohio aren't that worried about it. They can run your tags and your info will come up anyway.

I think thats a great idea! I don't know if a single loop would look as good as something along the lines as maybe a 4pt setup since there is a backseat and quite a bit of room behind the front seats...as opposed to like a Miata or S2K.
