Just a quick update. Had all the parts fitted by my garage, knocking sound i used to get (which i thought was the spare wheel cover in the boot) is no longer there, handling around corners have improved 10fold, its brilliant!

The first problem, i had something similar and that was the stabiliser link had come lose from the shock absorber, got that replaced and the noise dissappeared. The second problem i only get after taking my foot off the pedal after accelerating quite hard, no idea what it is either.

As the title says when accelerating quite hard the ignition light comes on, when accelerating normally it does not. Does anyone know the cause of this? I've tried searching google and various forums but no one seems to have come across it...

Hi there, just had my MOT done and the rear inside suspension link is knackered. Looks like someone welded it on, didnt do a good job and it just broke.
So I've ordered some KYB 334126 and 334125 rear shocks and two bought two stabiliser links. Now looking at the broken part on my car it doenst look exactly the same as links ive bought, can you tell me if i need an extra part or will the shocks not need this extra metal piece or has the metal piece infact just broken off the current shocks. Cheers.

Pic of the stabiliser and metal piece circled, as you can see its not connected to anything, just hanging off.

ah i should of said my car is unmodified, standard. i was leaning towards force 10 but i think some black alloys with a silver lip would look best.
this is greenyst204s car but mine looks the same apart from the fact i have silver window tints atm, will probably get some black ones soon.IPB Image

Im having a really hard time deciding on some alloys to buy for my black celica [GT 2.0 1995 uk st202]

I've visited alot of alloy sites and settled on one with the largest range, the problem now is there are too many that i like. Im sure you guys have seen far more celicas than myself so i was wondering which would you guys pick out of this selection?

Hey there, I'm saving for a GT myself so should be getting one next month (In black!). I've had some insurance quotes and the best was Directline.com with their online discount. Being 21 with coming up to 3 years holding my license and 0 years no claims i got a quote of £80 per month, so id give them a try. Failing that go to one of those price comparison sites like http://www.moneysupermarket.com/ they usually get cheaper quotes because they bring more custom to the insurance sites. Hope that helps smile.gif
