My car will be in the shop until end of next week and can't make it this time. But, I love SOW for when I ride my bike, so definately will keep my eye out on your schedule. Thanks.

Only has one o2 sensor hole. I think US model has two. But I'm not too familiar.

well the stage 2 was fun while it lasted. I'm going to deliver the stock clutch to shop tomorrow, have them resurface the flywheel, and install new throw out bearing. I'm sure my left leg will be happy, and wife won't hate the jerkiness anymore, lol.

thx. Also, based on the photos I posted, which pressure plate should I use? the aftermarket (first photo) or the oem? what would happen as far as feel if I used the aftermarket one? does my oem look okay? thx (btw the shine on the last photo is not glazing, just shiny from the flash)

I got the Stage 2 thinking it'll last longer than stock. Below pics are my stock clutch components. If I went back to stock, can I use the Competition Clutch disc with the stock clutch? would that make anything better. Also, I still do not fully understand why the Competition Clutch Stage 2 is said to be bad because of the marks, considering it is smooth and has no cracks, also fairly new. Any explanation would be great. Thx.

Hi everyone--
I got a lot of burn marks on both the plate of the clutch and the flywheel. The clutch is Competition Clutch Stage 2. The flywheel is stock; resurfaced when clutch was installed. I had the clutch less than a year and put less than 10K on it. I drove it pretty easy, and did not abuse it. Not sure what caused it. I'm getting the engine rebuilt, that's why I saw my clutch out.
So my questions?

Do I have them just put the clutch back in? Will those burn marks hurt anything?

Should I order a new plate from Competition Clutch and get new flywheel? btw does getting a new plate fix the clutch?

Thank you

This will definately will be a thread I will enjoy following. Keep up the good work. And giving credit where it's due. That is a great price for a paint job including all the body repairs. I'm paying 1500 for mine, like you mentioned, lol. It will be primer, top coat, and clear as well. I have one bad fender, he said he is going to replace with new. He is also going to remold my body kit. He said he will do it with fiberglass filler, so hope it'll hold better than before. Anyways, I'll post those once I get the car back. Best of luck with everything.

Hi everyone--
Those of you who own aluminum megan racing radiators, please let us know what you think of it.
1. What engine do you have in your car?
2. Why did you get this radiator?
3. Does it make your car run cooler than stock radiator?
4. Any issues?
5. How much did you pay for it?
6. It says for use with manual transmission. Is yours a manual? what if we swapped auto to manual, is it still okay?

Thank you

Thanks. Do you have plans on changing the shifter cable bushings as well?
QUOTE (Syaoran @ Nov 20, 2012 - 3:05 PM) *
They're supposed to. If the shifter uses the same base mounting points as stock (which it should) then yes, they'll fit.

Looks good bro.
How long did you have to wait between the coats and do you have to worry about overspray? Thinking about doing it in my driveway. Want to do mine soon. Just gotta do some repairs first. Too much money to get it painted, so maybe a good alternate. Mine is white, wanna keep mine white and spray the plastidip clear over it.

The 260 cams would be the one for the turbo. I put two different profiles for the 5SFE. 256 is the milder ones. So, you don't pay both.

I believe the 260 cams are the ones I want for turbo, right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

P.S. Why is there a set of cams for the 1mz and there are two cam profiles for the 5s-fe? Do we have to buy two cams (400 and 350) separately for intake/exhaust, or does each cam profile include intake and exhaust cams?
