the fuel injectors out of a 7mgte are the same as the celica and can support 86hp per injector.

i dont know about where you guys are but where i am (for whoever suggested the 50/50 mix) that is the biggest scam ever because it is the same price as a regular gallon of antifreeze. so basically your paying the same price for half as much because your only getting a half gallon of antifreeze.

yeah its called a v.g.t turbo its not a smaller one in a bigger one at low rpm it has a small a/r ratio and then as engine rpm increases the a/r ratio gets to increase and the vanes on the turbine adjust to get more airflow. as far as an electric s/c we did dyno runs at school with them and the hastle of putting one on and the gains u got/lost were not worth even doing it.

seeing how ur saying turbo i am asuming u got a 3s-gte 2.0L. i have just actually done all the calculations to run a turbo at 15 lbs of boost with a projected hp gain at max efficeney of 300hp and the garrett gt7031R or the gt 7036R is plenty should have low turbo lag and good boost

well the thing that i am looking at would be putting a supercharger on there with a bypass solenoid so that it would basically eliminate turbo lag. cuz the supercharger would creat boost until the turbo kicks in and the solenoid stops creating boost.

if you got forged pistons with inverted domes you why had to get the crank rebalanced.

personally it is your car you should do what you want to it. but in my opinion i dont understand why people take a motor that is designed to be any economy, n.a. motor and boost it to me it dont make any sense. but like i said i dont own your car so do what you want to it

not sure which motor your talking about but i would suggest a good set of adjustable cam gears. because then you can increase you lobe separation angle and that will broaden you dyno chart. imo with a lightweight flywheel it is not worth it for a daily driver because the weight of the flywheel is there to smooth out the power strokes of the engine so when you take away that weight the car feels like it is idling rough.

the cam specs that you are talking about is the the advertised duration or the @ .050" duration. the only reason i ask is because that is alot of duration for a stock re-ground duration.

according to my teacher it is supposed to do that because the pcm is constantly trying to keep a stoichiometric air to fuel ratio of 14.7-1. so the pcm use's the o2 sensor's reading to see how much air is in the exhaust system. if there is not a lot then the system is rich and then the pcm narrow's pwm of the fuel injector solenoids so its sprays less fuel which means more air in the exhaust which makes it go lean. so it is always changing to compensate for a 14.7-1 ratio

personally i dont find a point in boosting a motor that was designed to be n/a. not to mention a economy motor. i helped with putting a turbo on a tc and it turned out to be a big mistake alot of custom fab and trial and error in the end he should have just gotten the trd supercharger. but hey do what ya want it is your car and this is my opinion.

yeah it is really important that it is all lined up right. because of the wear pattern that gets created.
