sadly it's not so unique over here... as we discover on a celica club club stand.. The likwid art phase over here is rather addictive, but I'm glad to report some people have a LOT more lol |

Not been on in a while but wanted to let you guys see how the vert has changed since I was last here. Now dropped to 50mil, complete with a fin from a gen 7 and now fitted with some awesome graphics from Likwid Art. Just waiting now on an interior trim to be delivered in carbon fibre effect so it's almost ready for show season |

sounds like alternator to me too. Had similar prob, lights would dim when I went on full beam etc. then I noticed ABS light coming on and stuff.. then one night at about 1am, doing about 90mph everything cut out when I flicked to high beam! lights, power, the lot.. no way to even alert drivers behind me that I was there... and couldn't see a thing in front of me! Luckily it came back on as I flicked the high beam switch... don't ask me how.. was scary as hell! Go get it checked as soon as! Managed to find one on ebay for £30 and problem solved! |

I've just lost the bolt from mine. Front left wheel, when looking at it, caliper is on left of the disc, and the bottom bolt is missing.. does anyone know if this is the long or short one? Reading from this, I'm a bit confused.. |

Don't know the make of the springs, they came off an ST202 from a member of another forum. Just haven't had the guts to fit them for the last year!! .. and been getting a hard time cos of it. The wheels are 18" Evo Crystal 3's.. very heavy, but car felt like it was on stilts after putting them on and I didn't like the handling.. now however, is a different story.. back to feeling like it's on rails. Ride is a lot harder, but not uncomfortable, just gotta be careful with the usual speedbumps (that are EVERYWHERE over here!) putting up a couple of pics of when I first got her. Had her about a year and a half. Changed the exhaust, the wheels, fitted spoiler from a gen 7 after struggling to find one that fit the vert, added the led's and the likwid art.. more likwid art to follow. Next on the agenda is some elbow grease under the bonnet!! day I bought her... first mods.. wheels and exhaust (yeh.. and the leds! lol) then the spoiler and likwid art |

Took a bit of persuading, but finally all done and dusted.. and lets just say it was a bit more than 40mm... quite a BIT more!! before pics.... after... If anyone is looking to lower a vert, just know the rear struts are NOT accessible from the boot/trunk!! If you lift the undercarriage to the roof compartment you'll find them hiding under there. The anti-roll bar links were a pain in the a$$ but finally got there!! |

Just for your info, I know this is an old thread, but the Gen 7 spoiler fits perfectly on the Gen 6 vert. Pics are in my gallery. I had same problem trying to find something that would fit due to the differences between the vert and the coupe |

Thats Cold Blighty (England) to you. Roads in that oart of the world are crap....not so bad in Essex though.
