ummmmm..... just disconnect from the ecu behind center console. pull wire thru. disconnect your grounds. put your hoist on your motor. unbolt motor mounts. you should have it out in less than an hour by yourself. Everything you unplug only plugs back into one place. if you're hands on. its easy. i have a pretty good photographic memory. if you do as well. you don't need labels. cuz there isn't much to do. took me less than 2 hours to put it in by myself and make it run. thats including beer n cigarette breaks lol. i can't believe how easy these are to do. especially after doing honda motor swaps for awhile. i won't ever go back to honda since i've owned my Celica.... i also have a V6 5 Spd Camry. If something ever happens to it. I'm throwing that in the celica. but don't be afraid to take it out. its a piece of cake.

its actually not that hard. you'll need : from a GT or 5SFE with transmission....ECU,Engine Harness,Power steering lines, axles, shift linkage. if i think of some other parts i'll let you know.....simply unlug the ecu. the thru way is top left of engine bay. pull the wire back through to the motor. the motor will come out with all wires, pwr str.excc.... attached....the rear motor mount is in a crap spot. but with the right tools it wasn't hard. the power steering line is different, the one that attaches to the pump. different bend at the end. and you will need a 5SFE radiator, a/c condensor and lines. the left motor mount is the only one that bolts differently. i welded mine to the engine bay. but you can see where the bolt would go for a GT. has an indentation like a covered hole. you could drill and tap it. thats just off the top of my head. i did it in mine. and it was SOOO worth it. i have a 25th anniversary. it was nice being rare. but not slow. i'm def happy with it now. let me know if you decide to go head with it. i can guide you through. i baught a whole other celica and swapped mine out. so i had all the parts readily available. i also got the bigger front brakes and rear disc!

This is my 96' 25th Anniversary Celica. I'm just gone list the mods, leave me comments if you like it or not. Criticism welcome. Just wanted to know what you guys think. I painted it myself. Needs recleared. Clear must have been bad from sitting in the garage over winter.I had a build page posted. Can't find the link. Will also be painting engine bay and motor parts.

Mods:

GT Front Calipers and rotors.
AEM Intake and Filter

Advanced Timing
2.5" DC Header
NO Cat
2.5" Front to rear exhaust. Ractive muffler

i have one. it looks nice. and made a big difference in throttle response. i'm also running 2.5 pipe from it to the rear no cats or resonators. definitely the loudest car i've ever heard.

its really not that hard. take out your center console. theres a cotter pin on the left cable. the right one goes under the shifter where the arm connects. has a c clip. there is a bracket by the rear crossmember. 10mm bolt. the bitch is gettin those brass clips off from the transmission. i'd suggest taking the intake manifold off. and it still a bitch to get to.there is also a bracket above the heat shield directly under the shifter.2 10mm bolts. really not that hard. just make sure you get it all back in the way it came out. or it will never shift right again.

QUOTE(Valo666 @ Feb 4, 2008 - 7:04 PM)

I had to replace the wheel bearing on sarah's coupe today and when i pulled it apart i found out that the hub was worn down alot due to the absolutly terrible bearing.

Any ways, i just need the hub/spindel. Pretty much the peice where the rotor mounts to with the studs where it connects into the actuall spindel its self.

is it an ST or GT? I have both front assembly's still together with calipers and good rotors for the ST.
