I dont really care about other brands,i'm talking about only toyota/lexus parts. All i need to know is what engine can mount on what trany.I just thought there must be an rwd trany that fits our 5 0r 3s.I dont really care about the crazy off the wall projects about awd or rwd.

BTW i'm very serious.

Thanks for looking

Fenders have a lip that goes into the wheel well, when your tire rubs the fender, you have to roll the lip upwards to get some clearance.

I love the wide body

I hate the invader(gay batman stuff)lol

I still think that namptech is way too round. Our cars need some deffinition, not blubb, they are too round as it is.

Just my opinion.

You should look for cacks in the hoses. If you are idling at 1000 then it must be a small leak,if something was to be unplugged then your rpm's would go above 3000

If you have an aftermarket intake then the hiss comes from that.Actualy if your hoses have never been changed, this is a good time to change them all. They are all hard and brittle after 10+ years.

hmm, so I called the engine place my coworker was talking about. it's $750 for an engine (don't know if it's new or rebuilt, probably rebuilt) and $550 for a transmission. for $1300, I could have a car practically with 0 miles... I'm gonna ask them if they can get a 94-95 MR2 turbo engine and an E-153 w/ LSD. if not, I'll ask about a 98+ engine. I'm considering keeping it, but I just don't know yet. I'm gonna pull the old engine out, save up some money, and go from there.

RWD is still calling isnt it?

Personaly i would not recomend it. 5sfe was not built for a turbo, so it was not intended for a punishment .I guess theres a limit it might take with a turbo, but can you trust your self by not going over?

get some compression numbers, then post them here and we will see from there. But 172000 ? i doubt its a good idea to turbo it.

Irridiums are better for turbo engines i heard. They just last a lot longer than a regular sparkplug for our cars...nothing special.

Overkill i'd say.

Make sure that the engine is warm.....not cold and not hot,you should be able to touch the valve covers.

I have the same problem, but when i replaced the intake back to stock it got a little better.....Not sure why,i guess i got more low end power to grab from lower rpm's where its less rotation.
