My 7afe just smoke a little when u first start it up from being cold, and doesn´t smoke under accell, but when you let the engine brake the car and then give it gas is when it will puff out grayish smoke that smells like oil!! And the longer i let it decell the bigger the cloud of smoke when i accell.....


Does this symptoms is valve stem seals?
or can be Pistons rings?

I cant find timing light any where ...
Do your distribuitor is the same position?
i almost sure this is not the correct position....

I change my engine 7afe a few months ago all works fine.
But the mechanical didnt have the "light strobe gun" to make timing the distribuitor correctly.


Today i went to few mechanicals and no one have the ligth gun , they say new cars have automatic timing, so they dont use that light any more.


So i must do it my self based in some info.

Can any one tell me if this in correct position??




For what i know it looks that is very advance.
Can any one tell me with is the more correct position?? (middle ??)

Humm i see.
But Blistein B4 on catalog is High Quality OEM replace. Its not the sport version...

Edit: I went now to change the pressure in tyres. I was using 39 PSI. I now using 32 PSI...

Hi!

Some time ago i change the original struts to Blistein B4 with original springs.
I also riding 17" 215\40 trye.
I was not happy before and still not happy with results.

My comfort is terrible. I am always moving, like a boat, I got a little "Tree Car Air Freshener" and is always waving, so i not psychological thing...
Even when driving at low speed with normal not to bad shape road.... at high speed it improve a little but too much..


I have doubts if the suspension is too hard or to soft..


How can improve my suspension... does the installer forget to put or to check something ? Does original springs are not right to blistein struts? Tyres ?

My original manual transmission in 7AFE is broken.

So i need to get other one.
I get in local junkyard a manual transmission from a AE92 4AGE.
Does the transmission l fits perfectly in 7AFE? No mods need?

If yes, whats the diference i will fell after install in 7AFE ?
This a way to go ??

I went to my local shop to replace clutch, because i was hearing some noises
...but i get the bad news...
1 Tranny part have problems...

You can see metal be "eating" !








I think the only option is to buy to find a replace part!!

I get my 2x aero 20 resonator today!!



I went to my local shop to solder them in!
1 hour work...
And result is!!!....:
THIS WAS NIGHT TO DAY CHANGE.....
Perfect deep bass sound.. Looks very like OEM Sound in low RPM.
But you get in 3.5K RPM...You can hear a deep cool bass sound..

PERFECTT!!!
Now i can enjoy calm weekend drives with my girl in highway and later in day go with some buddys to RACELAND

Just try to find the rigth model for you car.

I get diferent headers for my 7afe...it was need some work in they.


But after that ...Its was definely my best mod i done in my car.

Here it is.
This was home made install. In 30 min.
No trims...no cuts...
Just plug and play







Seens a little offset but is only the inclination position choose in menu.


Very happy about it


P.S - I remember they also have one 2DIN TOYOTA OEM REPLICA MODEL, Special Model.
Is was litle bit more expensive but have the look and felling from TOYOTA DESIGN....

I install 4-2-1 Header about 4 months ago...

Is a very good @mod but only compensate if you have also mod your exhaust system.

You fell more torque my case at 4500 RPM...
