I have the Burien setup, and Im very happy of the performance. With an extra few mods you can run 10lbs of boost sustained. This my daily driver and I depend on it. The only drawback is that if you have a AT you might want to start looking for a MT soon. The torque will make the AT slip after a few months. I have complete instructions on how to do this cuase I swapped the trannys not to long ago. But like everyone here says 3sgte is the way to go. I just picked one up for 400 bucks at local junk yard. and I will be swapping soon. good luck |

We are almost one month down and back up to 14 people needed. Very dissapointed We should have seen at least 5 payments made. If I dont see any results in the next month ahead< i have no choice to cancel, the group buy. |

GOOD NEWS !!!!!!!!!!! REFUNDS WILL BE APPLICABLE IF THE 14 DOWN-PAYMENTS ARE NOT MET. YOU WILL NOT LOSE ANYTHINGI spoke with Andy and he will provide refunds if all 14 people are not met, but he gave us a time limit of 90 days (3 months) or he will cancel the account and refund everyone that invested. This SHOULD relieve alot of poeples worries especially mine.!!! Also, its now 13, one guy walked in to VIS and mentioned this forum and put down the cash, because REFUNDS APPLY if not met Did I mentioned refunds apply!! 13 MORE TO GO!!!! |

I know that was my main concern too, but it looks like alot of you are interested, let me call Andy Monday morning and see if I can convinced them to drop the commitment thing..... doesnt hurt to ask. I see the reason on doing it that way, because there will be people that pay and ask for refund, and then pay and ask for refund.....etc. Yes, its a lot of money, but I took the risk, hoping there are at least 14 others out of the 10,000's celica owners. Look at it this way, all that responded to the topic are interested, 5-6 sounded very interested and if thiose 5-6 paid already ...we would only need 9 - 8 left.....not only that with the other 130+ that viewed on the topic and sees that 5-6 already paid that would get better chances on getting the additional people we need and enjoy our hoods even faster. That reminds me, for those who paid already please post here to show that you have done so. I will Call Andy every Friday to get an update count and will post here to keep everyone informed. |

Hey Pinky, Visit your local dealership and they can read some number off your drivers side door. there is a code they can write down and look it up...should only take 5 minutes to figure out exactly what your color is and you can save that code and give it to your paint and body shop to match the color if you ever need it it get it painted. |

Hey Guys/Gals For the last year or two, I have been waiting patiently for the Invader Style hood to come out for our cars. No more waiting!!!! I have called VIS Racing Sports a very well know brand name, and spoke to an associate named Andy, who has been very informative about us getting what we want. VIS is willing to manufacture the Invader Style hood but we need is 14 additional people (thats it) to come up with $450 + shipping (Andy said of an average of $110-$140 shipping charge) to start producing the hood. I have already opened an account with VIS for the hood, The account name is "Group Buy Celica CF Invader Hood 94-99" REFUNDS ARE APPLICABLE IF THE GROUP BUY DOES NOT MEET THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF PEOPLE IN (90) DAYS . VIS indicated to make payments with money orders only, and must be committed, there will be refunds if all 14 people are not met. So here are the instructions 1. Call VIS at 1.626.573.8383 and ask for Andy 2. Tell Andy you want to participate in the "Group Buy Celica CF Invader Hood 94-99" and ask for shipping Charge and Total amount ( should be between $560 - $600 including shipping) depending where you live. 3. Mail in the Money Order to VIS Racing Sports 400 East Garvey Avenue Monterey Park, CA 91755 and include "Group Buy Celica CF Invader Hood 94-99" ATT: Andy Name Address Phone Number Please email me at ljmolina@hotmail.com for those who are interested and/or post here so everyone would know how many we need left to produce this hood. Thanks Again everyone. Here is a picture of an example what it looks like |

hey guys/gals I have a 96 celica GT and I have been using the burien turbo kit for about 6-7 months now at 10lbs non-stop. Its been a great product. Only one drawback I have an auto tranny that its showing its abuse with only 82,000 miles. I will be swapping trannys here next week and converting it to a standard tranny if any of you have any insight problems let me know so I can plan for these upcoming issuses. Thanks. |

I have been running the Turbo kit for about a 6months now at 10lbs with no problem to the engine at all!! the transmission inthe other hand is now slipping due to the extra power. Next week Im converting from an auto to a standard tranny. If any of you have already done this please email me with some insight. The only issue I have is re-wiring the neutral safty switch, the cruise control and the clutch start. If any of you need a wiring diagram from th 96 celica email me. |

The badging are still there because this Celica came with black reflective insignias, I had a hard time finding the same ones, because at the toyota dealership kept ordering the wrong ones. |
