after checking both fans with a battery and they are ok you will have to check if the engine fan starts by itself in order to be sure about the relay, the other fans only come on when A/C is operating, so if you turn on your A/C both fans should be operating. let us know how it goes |

does your car actually over heat? steam water everywhere? I can be your radiator cap, if it cant keep the right psi in your cooling system it will make your cooling system act up, also a check your thermostat out. Just because its new doesnt mean its not broken before you installed it... The coolant level is OK, I have checked it everyday since this overheating problem started.. both radiator cap and the thermostat are new, however you are right it does not mean they could be broken but with the old cap n thermostat occur the same overheating problem. i really dont belive that the CTS could be the problem cause driven in the city the temperature always is ok. what do u think? |

Hi Guys; I have a JDM Celica 97, Engine Code: 3S-FE, Chasis Code: ST-202. I've seen many timing belt kit like these one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/87-01-TOYOT...0227571619& http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/87-01-TOYOT...0231076838& Now my doubt is, is it true that is the same kit for both engines 5SFE and 3SFE? Will this Kit fit on my engine, including the water pump? Because in the second link they show the following engines codes: 87 - 91 TOYOTA CAMRY 2.0L DOHC 16V 3SFE 92 - 01 TOYOTA CAMRY 2.2L DOHC 16V 5SFE 87 - 89 TOYOTA CELICA 2.0L DOHC 16V 3SFE 90 - 99 TOYOTA CELICA 2.2L DOHC 16V 5SFE 90 - 95 TOYOTA MR2 2.2L DOHC 16V 5SFE 99 - 01 TOYOTA SOLARA 2.2L DOHC 16V 5SFE 96 - 00 TOYOTA RAV4 2.0L DOHC 16V 3SFE But my 3SFE 2.0L/ 1997 isn't show in this list. ![]() Let me know your comments, i'll appreciate your help. Good Morning Guys! I am from Venezuela and i get a 6th gen celica but here in Venezuela Toyota only imported the model: ST202 2.0 liters engine code: 3S-FE. since i have read many posts you only have in US the models: AT200/ST204. This is my situation: i nee to change the shocks (front/rear) but i really dont know if the shocks for AT200/ST204 could be used on my ST202. Does anyone know if these parts meet each other? Could i buy these shocks to be installed in my ST202? could it be fit? For example: these are the p/n for AT200&ST204: KYB AGX: 334378, 334379, 334125, 334126. Monroe: 71557, 71558, 71559, 71560.
