These are the brackets i don't have:

The cat including downpipe weighs over 13kg, which will all be hanging on the turbo. Is it too much without the brackets?

I know i have asked this before, but this time the install will be permanent.

I need to reinstall the main cat, but i dont have the two support arms. Is it a bad idea to go ahead anyway?

Does anyone know how to remove the 7gc seat airbags? I have removed the two nuts in the back, but it is still stuck in the front somehow.

The valve is controlled properly by the knob, and i have now flushed and changed the coolant. Still warm air only.

Any chance you could take a picture? I thought that filter was supposed to go between the two vacuumlines on the valve.

On the stock diverter valve on a st205, there is a filter on in the vacuum line that is purple on one side an black on the other. Does anyone know which way it is supposed to be mounted?

I too find it weird that it is pretty much a straight line. I would think that temps would increase with higher pressure.

Maybe its time to get a FMIC. The temps reach 55C rather quickly when the car is stopped, and it takes a long time to get it down to 40C again.
At 55C, the ignition is down -1.5deg, so i am loosing a bit of power.

It actually makes sense that heatsoaking is the reason here. When i logged this i was driving short distances at a time.

I found a log from a roadtrip. The temp holds steady at 40C when cruising.

All stock ST205 except 2.5" exhaust and standalone ECU. The charge cooler is programmed to start at over 50% throttle or over 45C IAT.

The intake temp starts at 5C and slowly rises to 50-55C. Outside temp is around 15C. How agressive i drive doesnt seem to affect temps by much.

What temps should one except from the stock cooler?

I am currently running an aussie DP and Mongoose 2.5" exhaust, and i am really tired of the intense drone. I. Have a perfectly fine stock exhaust lyiing around, and with minor mods it can bolt strait up to the aussie dp. With the standalone ecu, the car is now putting out 250hp at the wheels at 15psi boost. Can i expect noticable power loss with the stock exhaust?

How much give should be allowed when tilting the top mount after it as been assembled on the shock? I can tilt it 1-2mm up and down. Should there be no movement at all?

So the point is to just torque the nut, and the gasket will be squished into position?

Does anyone know of an alternative to this part: http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?show=71143

I just bought the last one on ebay, and i need one more. Shipping from camskill will be 6 times the cost of the part.

Sorry, i misunderstood:)

So should the stock air-oil separator be sufficient? Or would it be benificial to either add or replace it with a catch can?

The intake on my old 3sgte with 200 000km was lined with black oily goo. Compared with the new jdm 3sgte with 100 000km thats totally clean.

I don't think its "cool", i just dont want a lot of oil in my intake. No need to get condescending:P

It's time to put the car in hibernation for the winter, and i will replace some worn out parts.

The ride is a bit soft and wobbly, and the front suspension is really noisy. So i will start with that. Here is a shopping list of suspension parts i want to replace:

Other parts on the suspension i should change while im at it? All parts has got about 60k miles on them.

Ok, catch can it is then. I dont want the oil to get inside the intake and leave a mess.

Can it end in a breather, or does it need vacuum from the intake?

Teins travel is ridicoulus. When i did a 3-point turn in my driveway thats slightly uphill, only 3 wheels touch the ground at a time.
