Damn guys, King of Prussia is right outside of Philly, the area is nice and the mall is one of the biggest in the country. I live like 30 minutes away and would meet up sometime in December.

If i advance the timing on my 7afe will it interfere with the computer, my dad said that the newer cars are trickier because if you advance the timing it confuses the computer er something along those lines. Can i just advance the timing or am I in for more work?

I can't see any possible better option that the 4agze swap for the ST, drops right in and the place Coomer got his 4age Storm Performance has the supercharged suckers for like $1200.

Dude there is nothing you cant do in a manual that you can do in an auto. All ya need is your right arm/hand to drive stick, taking turns and shifting with one hand gets trickier but if you gotta lets say shift, turn, change cds, talk on the phone and pimp girls at the same time...you better be at home playin Gran Turismo. Get stick and you will never regret it, get auto and you'll wish you had stick, its that simple.

I HAVENT EVER GOTTEN ONE COMPLIMENT OR RACE EVER! I only had my car like 6 months but not one person has ever tried to race, i get looks because of my exhaust and all i can think is that the greddy sounds good enough that people wont even fuq with it...but then i dont know...no1 has good taste in cars around me as evident by the fuqin 5 color Probes and coffe canned civics all over.

and natalie, you need to start using your femeninity to get some free parts, that guy works for toyota so hit him up

Maybe he did have a turbo, you guys keep talking about spooling this spooling that, if the guy in the civic thinks like me then no wonder you got smoked doing 85 or so. Your sitting in your car right and maybe for this scenario, you got a 3sgte in your GT and some punk in a Civic with wing and coffee can thinks hes got a machine and decides to take you at the light. Just fuqing laugh at the fool and let him think hes hot **** untill you blow by him like he pulled a chute. Thats what I would do and sounds like what that guy did to you. YO ITS CALLED A SLEEPER! Whats the fun of blowin him off the line when u can give him a head start and really make him $hit tacks when you make a gross display of horsepower. Maybe he had a turbo or maybe he had some nice all motor swap but Im sure he wasn't expecting you to race and when you did he just laughed and said "Is this guy fuqing kidding". It kinda sounds like nitrous though, like he waited till he was in fifth gear at WOT and just punched it, that kinda explains why you were already going 85 when he went by you.

I cant think of any better satisfaction than embarissing someone in a sleeper....maybe a nice steak dinner

You just dont see any other cars with the vertical red bars for brake lights, and hell yea the interior is awsome, sit in the passanger seat if you dont often and its like WOAH this **** is nice in here.

Thanks for that, but which are firmer, the 1 inch drops or the 1.5 inch drops? The guy at CJs tire said the sportlines are firmer which makes sence because they are lower and they would have to be firmer so you dont bottem out. Im just worried about the crapy roads around me so the 1 inch drop would be better but I dont want the ride to be like stock and just lowered.

And this was the website, the majority of them are not flattering of the Sportlines, it helps to view all at once.
http://www.carreview.com/Suspension/Spring...19_1581crx.aspx

Id really like to see how the 1inch drop of the Pro Kit looks on a 6 gen celica cause i want the drop to be noticable but not slammed because again the roads are not the greatest. Does anyone have these or know of a picture of them.

Does anyone know which will give a firmer ride, Eibach Sportline Spring Set with the 1.5 inch drop or the Eibach Pro Kit with the 1 inch drop and are the TRD springs that are made by Eibach and give a 1 inch drop exactly the same as the Pro Kit or are TRDs made to a different firmer spec by Eibach than the Pro Kit. I dont want to go too low but i want the spring that will give me maximum handling with comfort an afterthought. And does anyone have comments about the quality/performance of H&R springs? I thought of them too but dont hear much about them.

I was just reading this review site and people were saying the drop sags over time and sometimes certan springs sag before others and ending up with a 2.5" drop. I cant go that low, my roads suck horribly.

Yo If I were you I would call them up and ask for some kick back since they used your car, get some sponser money or something. They are making money off of you so its only fair that you see some of it. Im sure if your nice about it and ask if they could use your car more you might get a good deal. But I dont think you can do anything legaly because iyou cant copyright a car and you were in a public place so its fair game.

....Yea it is
A buddy on here let me know that there was a meet that was postponed because of work issues, some forgot, and maybe some just don't care. Let me just start by saying I love cars, I mean I fuqing love cars, and I really fuqing love nice cars. I love to talk about cars, and I really love to talk about nice cars. Celicas are nice cars period, I think thats why we are here. When I heard that there might not be a meet for the northeast this summer I got a little angry. Some of you out there have some amazing Celicas and alot of understanding and I'd really like to get together and shoot the sh1t about these cars. I don't know what obligations everyone has this summer but I would very much like to see some of these cars and meet some of you guys who love to talk about cars as much as I do. Lets get something solid going you bastards before summer ends. I mean WTF this site is like "it" for 6gc in America! Are cars also represent a niche model in the import industry which makes a meet even more, dare I say "special". I will risk sounding korny, in the hope that maybe a few more people will take notice to the situation. I want to see these cars and hear some stories to much to not say something, so who wants to truely put a fuqing respectable northeast meet together?

I didnt know if anyone else noticed but we don't have Integras with oversized headlights.

It looks like your hood doesn't match up with the front of your car. Right in the middle above the Toyota emblem it looks like the hood is lower than the bumper and not flush with it. Is that something that happened after the accident? Anyway your car looks slammin!

AND

Why didn't you take a picture bending over the back of the car again I don't understand...

Yea I dont know either thats why I asked, I thought maybe it makes it more responsive because those flaps dont have to open and your probably more likely to get water in the intake when your driving than just sitting still so I dont think thats why its there but then Im guessing.

Im not sure if you will have the same problem that I did but when I went to install my greddy I found that I had a second o2 sensor that needed a place to fit in the exhaust. So a hole wass drilled in the exhaust and a threaded washer was welded on so the o2 sensor could screw in. Other than that the only things you have to do is cut the bolt heads off because they are probably not going to just come off unless maybe the exhaust is hot but then thats dangerous. So you could check if you have an additional o2 sensor after the cat and if your bolt will come off. I dont know what kinda tools you have but if you can handle those two problems then do it. Exhausts are not hard at all but most of the time the bolts have to be cut off or drilled out. Good luck, hit me up with any questions.

I read an article about a type-r that was tuned by a guy in Japan who had a modest budget and set it up for grip. He put 205 size tyres in the front 195 in the back. The magazine said this was common for people who setup the cars for grip. I just bought kosei k1 wheels 15x7 and was thinking of doing this because it would help balance out the understeer in my car. Can anyone say if this is good or bad or worth doing, anyone know of setups like this and how it works? I would aslo put 205 front and 195 rear... Thanks
