if you could find the prices on the used projector headlight sets, id probably be willing to take a whole set of all four lights if they're resonable and not too ****ed up |

with 400 dollars, no matter what you do, its gonna have very little return with that amount of money i would just work at making it look cleaner, or save up more towards getting an engine swap thats just my couple of pennies btw, you dont use bondo on polyurethane |

well, its a week later and i got some of the problems fixed i pulled the horn fuse so itd quit blasting and drove it home, the first mile or so the car kept dying and the water was shooting out the exhaust, but after a few hours or so i finally got it home i had to scoop the water out of the inside below the seats and around the pedals n floor mats, along with water in the spare compartment in the trunk, cleaned that ****er for a good 3 or 4 hours, but i still had the problem wtih the lights n horn being on no mater what along with my locks wigging out and flippin back n forth UNTIL , i found this lil black box under my driver's seat that was soaked, took that ****er out and opened it up n clean out all the mud n water n now my car runs pretty much perfect can anyone tell me what that lil black box under the driver seat that says "toyota security" on it is for?? the only problem i have left is that my airbag light is on on my cluster, is there anyway to reset that or get it to turn off? |

so yeah, incase you didnt see my other thread, my car was in a flood the other day. In the midst of it, the horn, turn signals, sidemarkers, and 2 tail lights came on. well two days later and they still dont wanna turn off, I had to pull the horn fuse so that i could drive home and now i got the battery unplugged so the car doesnt die is it possible that this might have something to do with the "toyota security" box under my seat? it was sitting in a couple of inches of water when i got to the car back ALSO, my car is idling at around 300rpm, my drive home from from the house where it got flooded took about 1 hour since my car kept choking up and dieing, and at the same time water would start flowing out of the tail pipe any and all help will be muchly appreciated, thx guys... |

i had already planned on getting different carpet and seats, so its not TOO big of a deal, just sucks that its all gonna stink for a lil while, and there might be some rust issues now aswell as far as the electrical part, i have no idea where to start and how to take care of that problem |

well after the water went down, i tried starting it up, battery seemed too dead to try n turn over, and the whole time my horn is goin and the lights are on, well a few hours later the battery eventually died, i came back to the car and tried hookin up a new battery, but the second i try to plug it in, the horn starts up and the lights come on, i dont know what the deal is |

had some nice flash flooding in the area from all the hurricane storms comin up to the midwest area today/lastnight, i didnt really know they were coming this way til i woke up to my car's horn blaring at 8:30 am this morning, went out side and found this: thats my car in the street with all the lights on and horn blasting, ive yet to figure out why they were on when i got out there, there was no water going inside the car, so i decided to leave it there, checked on it a few hours later when the water levels went down, and my whole interior was soaked with standing water on the floor just spent the past few hours trying to dump the water out and soaking it up with sponges and squeezing it out, aahhhhh what a day.... none the less i just got this car about a month and a half ago |

brings up another question for me, is one brand of r134a as good as another? would a more expensive better brand from the auto store work better than the cheap stuff at walmart? or is it all the same? |
