The Antenna is about 7 ounces...
I could use some bubble wrap and a USPS Priority envelope and shipping would be about $5.

I might be interested - I need something for my MR2 as it came with no antenna at all! smile.gif

How much would shipping be to 98337? I can also receive at a business address by the same zip code if that ends up being cheaper. Thanks!

Thanks 808celica for sending me those rear hole covers, I'll let you know when I get them.

For everyone else, I've ordered what I currently need from Toyota.

Thanks

Hi,

Check out

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...A:IT&ih=010

and the other items this guy has up for sale. You might find what you're looking for.

I needed ONE nozzle, and I almost bought these but found it cheaper. Not sure if you needed the whole connection assembly, but thought I would let you know.

Greetings,

I have a broken antenna from a 95 Hatchback.

I was gonna throw it away, but then figured maybe somebody needs the parts from it.

This is (was) a manual antenna.....

Here's what https://www.1sttoyotaparts.com/
is asking for the parts:

Part Number: 8639612020
Electrical - Antenna - Mast - Nut Nut - Manual 1994 - 1995
$5.56

Part Number: 8639220180
Electrical - Antenna - Ornament Ornament - Manual 1994 - 1995
$8.70

Part Number: 8630920270
Electrical - Body electrical - Antenna & radio - Antenna Antenna, celica, all, manual 1994
$30.69

If anyone wants this to fix (you can buy just the inner part...didn't know that before I went out and bought a generic one)
or just needs those few parts for the one they have already, let me know.

Price is just the cost for shipping as everyone has been really helpful to me here since I joined
(and how much can you really ask for a broken antenna anyways laugh.gif )

Let me know your zip code and I'll estimate shipping.

Thanks
Gary

Ok, here's a debate for ya (that I'm having with myself)

My girlfriend is blind at night (big thick glasses) and I wanted to get some good bulbs for her 97 Celica.
I've read most of the posts, but the whole "melting the wiring harness" thing has me confused.
Along with the 8500k (candle power?) and the 65watt standard draw and staying below that (for that melting issue).

So I think it's between

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-SETS-EURO...emZ220266179724

(Batman has the ones in the above link)

OR

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Sylvania-Silversta...86.c0.m14.l1318

(most folks love these except for Supersprynt)

Thoughts??? Comments???
(don't try to talk me into projectors or anything.... laugh.gif )

Thanks
G

Hello all,

I'm contemplating changing the weatherstripping on the hatchback.
I was wondering what folks here have used before.

I was thinking about trying this

http://www.jcwhitney.com/UNIVERSAL-DOOR-TR...03813_10101.jcw

has anyone used it before?

I know I can order OEM from toyota for about $50....but was just curious if anyone had used anything else.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

On the topic of the "Package Shelf".... Just curious but has anyone else noticed that it doesn't quite fit correctly?

Where the ends of the rod (the piece you were looking for) goes into the interior trim (driver and passenger sides) when it is lifted up it wrecks the hinge hole because the shape of the package shelf catches on the interior trim.

I ended up doing some "alterations" (read as cutting) sections of the "Package Shelf" so it would open freely and not catch on the interior trip pieces, therefore not putting stress on the holes.

I trimmed where the arrows are, took off about 1/2 an inch depth, and about 1 inch length.

Now it opens fine without "stressing" the interior trim holes and causing them to crack.

Just curious.

I would think that if someone mailed you the money order FIRST.....then it would be easy to ship.
And I think you can just cash money orders anywhere (at any bank for cash...right?)

Yeah, definitely not stock....I am working on my 95 Hatchback and I don't have one either in that spot.
Now...what it is holding? Not sure....might require a crawl under the car biggrin.gif

Greetings all,

I'm looking for a few parts and if you have them I'd be willing to hear how much you want for them.
I'm also going to place an order from Toyota for what I can't get from the forum here, so I'm looking for a bit of a quick response.
I also have an idea of how much each item costs, but I would rather give money to fellow 6G-ers than Toyota.

1) Rear View Mirror (gray) - Mine has some sort of separation going on.
Don't need the whole assembly, just the mirror.
(really don't want to buy this from Toyota)

*******************************************************
The rest of these pieces are stupid little things that I can buy from Toyota
but before I place an order, I figured I would see who has them.
I'm planning on making a purchase soon, so please let me know asap
if you have any of these.
*******************************************************

#16) Support Rod Grommet:
(That piece that holds the hood support rod to the chassis)

#15) Clamp - Coupe, liftback Coupe
(spare tire plastic disc that holds down the board over the spare tire)

#15) Nozzle
(Good ol squirter piece...you know the piece that sprays the washer fluid onto your windshield)

??) The door cap part.

??) Clips that go on the lift-gate

??) Three seperate parts for the rear interior panel.

A) Part #1 - Is just a cap (I have them all except for one)...it has a picture of a bulb on it.

B) Part #2 - Single part...it screws into the hole in the body but must have a very large head to fill the hole in the panel.

C) Part #3 - These are the ones that have the threaded part sticking OUT from the body, so something must screw onto the threaded part
(see picture below for the threaded part I'm talking about).

Thanks and let me know.

Gary

Latest and greatest quote for full set in VINYL, just FYI.
(took ILuvMyCelica95 example and checked on a full set)

------------------------
My first email to them.
------------------------

Greetings,

I was just wondering what other options you have for a 1995 Toyota Celica. I don't have to get "real" leather but was looking for leather-esque material (vinyl etc..). Do you offer anything like that?

If so, how much do they go for. I'm sure the leather covers are very nice, just outside of my budget.

Any information you can provide is appreciated.

Thanks
Gary

I think my "search" issue was that I (and nobody else me thinks) didn't know what to call the darn things.

"Poppers", "Nylon Fasteners", "Nylon Rivets", "Christmas Tree Fasteners", "Shield Retainers"......
I searched and searched but nothing came up ...mostly cuz I didn't know what to call them.

Anyways, whatever works best so others can find this info.

A repost eh?

I searched and searched but couldn't find anything on this in the forums.
(I'm trying to be a good newbie and not repeat what's been done already).

Here's a link to the seller's ebay store...this shouldn't expire as long as the seller stays in business.

Greetings,

Well, after a few days research I just wanted to post what I found. You know those plastic push pieces that hold on various items (head liners, trim, panels) they are called various things.

I found them called Nylon Fasteners, Nylon Retainer Clips, Christmas Tree Fasteners, and other descriptions.

I came across the following link in EBAY and purchased the item, so wanted to share in case others are looking for similar clips.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Automotive...p3756.m14.l1318

The price might be a tad high but considering that you get multiple sizes, and that they are approx $5 per package at Auto Zone for just one size, this seemed to be the most cost effective and versatile solution.

Again, I didn't find anything in the forum on this when I looked earlier, so thought I would post it.

Additionally, these other websites helped

http://www.thefastenerwarehouse.com/page/page/566976.htm

http://www.thecliplink.com/index.php?targe...roduct_id=42245

Thanks
Gary

Too bad you aren't shipping stuff, I know it can be a hassle, but it sounds like you could sell a bunch of stuff.

You're 2 hours away from me, and not worth the drive for the small pieces I might be looking for.

Well, I took out the headliner today....and the hoses were still connected.
Taking out the headliner wasn't difficult at all, exactly as described in the forum posts.

I went out and bought some gas clamps and replaced the "spring" clamp with the screw tightening gas hose clamps. I'm hoping that water was just "seeping" out around the spring clamps and that these will fix that.

I also put some silicon around the top of the windshield where the leak was in case the leak WASN'T coming from the sunroof (since I had the headliner off anyways).

I then took a gallon of water and dumped it into the sunroof well....and it drained exactly like it was supposed to out the bottom of the car. So I guess I have to wait for the next actual rain to see if I fixed something.

One added note....I read where people were saying that water was getting into the floor area and wondered if it was coming from the sunroof. I tried to trace the drainage hose from the sunroof and it goes inside the body down to the bottom of the car inside the rails that run along the length of the car. I thought maybe that if the hose wasn't draining properly or was hiked up that maybe the water wasn't making it all the way down and draining onto the floor.

Also note that along the rails on the bottom of the car you'll see round vent sort of things....this is where the water drains from....if they are plugged then maybe the water could leak inside the car?

Anyways, just wanted to share what I did and found out.

Greetings,

Nice ride, I also own a 2001 Eclipse Convertible (in addition to my Celica)
However,
As a public service announcement I feel I can say this because I own one...please check out google for mitsubishi issues.
There are many many consistent issues with these vehicles. Of all the problems I read other people having I experienced fact for fact about 2/3 of them.

Once they are repaired, the ride is nice. Love the color.

I like it....just the way it is.

The side scoops are a must since your 4 year old gave them to you.
Are you going to paint them white or try to blend them into the car a bit before painting?

It's alllll goooood

First of all, thanks to ILuvMyCelica95 for one of the pics I borrowed.

I checked out the forum topic on this here

http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...eaking++sunroof

I just got my own 95 Celica just a few days ago. We just had a really good rain so I wanted to see if anything was leaking.
I found a few wet spots, but only on the inner ceiling in the corners by the windshield.

Here

and here

so I did what I read in the forums and looked for the drainage holes, I think I found them in the
corners

My question is ..... are these the same drainage holes that ILuvMyCelica95 pointed out in the following picture?

Do I have the front of the car direction correct?

I'm going to make the conclusion that both drainage holes are not connected to the drainage pipe??
Could the drainage pipe be bad (hole in it or something)
I wouldn't assume it is plugged as the drainage holes are obviously draining but not to where they are supposed to
(someplace else other than the corners of my ceiling)

Does anyone have any other experience with this that can lend some expertise?

The good news is that it doesn't appear to be leaking anyplace else. Floor is dry, etc.....

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Gary
