does it keep trying to retract ? you can buy a rebuild kit for it or just grab a used one from ebay. you can also convert to a s2000 aerial which is smaller and sportier. It doesnt keep trying, no its like the end point had decided to be a few inches sooner than it should be. cant force it down by hand either, it keeps springing back like a shock absorber! do i have to replace the whole unit then, theres no way i can just reset the relay or something? |

Nah - the cone helps alot over even a drop in TRD or K&N type. You can do the aluminum pipe for more bling and just the teeniest improvement but honestly sounds like your setup is just fine. Ngofcukingway ran around on his mom's camry like that for a while [Ask him about the kibbles and bits LOL]. Post a current pic of your setup so we can help better. i'm on the case-thanks actually it does seem to zip up to 7k from 5k a lot faster so maybe i'm sticking with the induction cone hehe. I just gonna get a friend to film/time the 0-60mph to see if theres any improvement but I'm sure there will be as 60 is normally reached at 7k in 2nd |

does the little pipe not do anything then? ive just put my induction filter in the end of the old airbox pipe cos i thought there was sensers and stuff in there but if it helps i'll get rid of the lot mine had a cotton filter in as standard not a paper one so maybe i'm better off stock? |

unless the auto box goes to 7k through at least the first 2 gears... You'd better put a FS: before talking dirty to me like that Hell, i'm lucky if mine hits 4500 w/ overdrive off. thats harsh, all the fun starts at just over 4500rpm |
