Hey there fellow adelaidian...

I saw that there was a cruise on the toymods forums the other day, I am assuming this is the same one...

I didn't realise there were that many nice cars in Adelaide.

I need to get my celi looking nice so I can go to the cruises.

I had a rattle in my car too, holding the pillar that the seat belt is on seems to stop it.

I took it in for a service about a month ago, now the rattle is gone redface.gif

What about after the wing is removed, wouldn't there be screw holes or something?

What would you use to fill those? putty of some type?

What are some alternatives to Advan Model 5 rims??

There aren't many places that sell decent rims in OZ, so I need to get some common alternatives.

So far I have:

Advan Model 5
Exel Ennio
Speedy Atix

Here's a pic of Exel Ennio's:

try http://www.speedhut.com/ they seem to be the best, at least the most popular.

Hmm, their site seems to be broken, perhaps try later

Anyone know what those are??

I also like the Koenig Imagine's - have a look at celicagirl022 profile, she has them

and the rims on that orange gt4 are pretty good too IMO.

QUOTE (Coomer @ Oct 29, 2003 - 11:22 AM)
I just had a new idea a few minutes ago. Next time anyone's having trouble with accessing the profiles, try remembering the user ID, which is one to four digits and is what directly follows the /members/ part of the url. For example, in the url http://www.6gc.net/members/7/s/24a84oiasi234880s3d8dfds, the user ID is 7.

Now, logout of your account, and once you're logged out, go to http://www.6gc.net/members/X in your browser, replacing X with the user ID. If this works or doesn't work, please let me know, so I can get this figured out. smile.gif

That doesn't work for me frown.gif

I am having all the problems described above. All of the site works fine except the members section. Running OS X Version 10.3 & Safari

81,000 US dollars??

you could convert a US celica into one for less than 20K

Back in 94' I think he means.

Yes, the retail price of a stock 1994 GT4, in 1994, in Australia was $81,680 Australian Dollars (AUD) each and toyota imported 87 of them to be sold locally in Australia.

Yeah, I think it was 87. 87 1994 GT4's were sold for $81,680 ea.

Unfortunately, now that means that they are un-eligable for import frown.gif

No, the only cars that can be imported into oz are cars that a) are more than 15 years old OR b) have never been sold new in oz

The 6th gen celi is ruled out on both counts frown.gif

There is one exception... If you own a car for more than a year in a different country you can import it, but it must pass compliancing otherwise it will be unregisterable

have a read of prestigemotorsport.com.au for more info

Where would you suggest placing this link? I think that it might clutter up each post, but we can see what everyone thinks.

Maybe next to the edit and quote buttons? or a small text link on the bottom left (under avatar & user info?)

It's just something really handy to have especially if you want to make a reference to a previous post in a different thread

Coomer, would it be possible to add a 'link to post' button or link on every post?

It would be handy for linking to previous posts etc. especially in large threads
