I know exactly what did it: aftermarket headers. Even though I have wrapped them in thermal wrap they still, I guess, generate too much heat... I'm already thinking about creating some sort of a heat shield on the alternator side.

BUMP. I can't believe that with so many members nationwide nobody has an access to a wrecked Celica/Corolla...

I need AC/alternator harness pigtail (assuming that GT and ST have same harness). with all the connectors intact - the alternator plug, AC plug and one more (not sure what it is?). Mine in car melted and right now is being held together by spit... frown.gif
I need this very urgently because, as of now, my alternator is not charging battery at 100% (my battery light on dash is on)!!!

I was gone for a while and just realized that 6GC does not allow linking pics from photobucket anymore but I can send you a pic of exactly what I need.

I might make some eye lids out of fiberglass this spring since I have a bunch left over from a year ago. It'll be a slanted look so that it looks sort of agressive

I tried plasti dip, but it looked dumb because it shined through it.

Pics? wink.gif

I can't help it but have to pipe in. I had a deal going on with him too, but because it was $100 I (smartly) waited to see when people will start receiving items fro him. I'm really glad I did.
I also happen to have his cell #. It probably won't do any good but I wonder if it would be appropriate to post in here?

This turned into love it/hate it discussion (as I somewhat expected LOL), but so far my original question remains unanswered: anybody knows about a source? wink.gif

my thoughts when I saw this topic Batman722 smile.gif

eyelids I think they are commonly called these days?

I know what they are called. In this case I thought that "eyebrows" description was more fitting...
Anyway, back on subject: I'm still looking for a source.

Buy them and mold them on maybe?

That's the plan. The "buy them" part, might be a problem. LOL
I would actually just use the low beam part (or grind out the high beam area back to circle) wink.gif

Anybody knows about source?

Hi all,
I have been searching for set of these eyebrows. I have a feeling it is a wild goose chase but if anyone know who makes them, I'd be very interested in getting them.
I just love how aggressive it makes Celi look. wink.gif

Thanks!

I'm not sure if this will answer your question but I have made serious brake upgrade on my ST: 13.5inch rotors/Willwood two piston calipers fronts and GT rotors/calipers rear. I'm still running stock ST master cylinder and have no problems at all. I'd say that stock ST master should support GT-4 brakes just fine. wink.gif

Hi,
these are definitely copies and most definitely very bad mold (the originals wrap "all the way around" so the bottom mounting bracket secures them to the bolt shown in pic 1 and sit flush with the wheel arch).
Personally I would suggest to get a set of originals (if it is affordable for you) they will fit 100%
Good luck.

I don't know. I have never replaced the clutch, I'd say it is the original one... (the engine has around 143k on it).

Friday afternoon when I was driving to work my clutch pedal stared to feel really mushy (about top 2/3 was completely without any resistance). When I was trying to shift the clutch started to grab maybe an inch from the floor. Almost to the point of stalling the engine while popping it.
I managed to drive all the way to the job and parked. Few hours later when I got to my car, there was absolutely no resistance in clutch pedal at all.

I thought that slave cylinder went out so I got a new one today.
While installing it, I noticed, that the arm sticking out of transmission is very loose and have a lot of play (sideways and also front-to-back). I thought that the arm should always be pressing against the piston of the slave cylinder with no or minimum play, correct?
Anybody can tell me what went wrong and how much in repairs I'm roughly facing?

Thanks!

Forgot to clarify: 7AFE with original tranny.

Here you go. It's kinda hard to see because of my mesh wheels, but you get the idea...
I will try to snap some pics next time I have wheel off.

Depending what your budget is....
Here is what I bought and it is THE best mod I've ever done to my car:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Big-Brake-Kit-CELI...090&vxp=mtr

The company has #1 customer service, too. wink.gif

Hey,
I know that you'd prefer pick-up but I'm just on the opposite coast in Tampa. Any idea how much the shipping would be? I'm very interested!
