lol, hes pulling your leg! youre not going to get a lot of performance oriented gearheads out of this forum. Most of them have moved on realized that is hard to tune the celica. Im not going to ask you why you need 500 HP. *** (not even going to mention 500 in fwd) ** cough.. My questions is, why are you not happy with your current set up? Most kids here will love to have what you have? what are you doing? 330? 350? 400? head out to gtfour forums in the UK, you may get more info out there... Most people are moving into the beams, and V6. Few here that are tuning second gen 3sgte.. I'm not going to keep it in the 95 Celica I'm looking for an alltrac to my Motor In. Right now I'm pushing around 450 I could probably go to e85 and get 500 but I was just curious about what everyone else has to say |

just to let every1 know i did most of the work on the car and the motor myself. I work part time at a machine shop in kissammee call p.c.c. auto. so did not pay thousands of dollars on is and i got whole sale on some of my part. now im havin a problem with some of the stock wiring. im tryin to keep the a/c so i have to trace all the the wires to the controls. this way i can cut the rest of the wires out to make it look better. so im try to work on that right now. ill get back to every1 later |

QUOTE(Glitch001 @ Nov 14, 2006 - 4:34 PM) what size wastegate? are you using race gas? Im not trying to be rude but i stand by my early BS flag statement. Hoping for 600 will take a LOT of work. You mean 5's as in what? 1/8th? Im assuming your going to be using slicks. and no need im not stressing, I was wondering if you could elaborate on more details. turbo size and trim? Boost levels? size of your intercooler? intake manifold? new throttle body? Shimless buckets? What stage clutch are you getting "spec" is kinda overall. Ill also assume you ment 264 duration camshafts not 265. Also what headgasket, the TTE is my personal fav, with a 60/40 sucess rate for the HKS. Also I didnt see ANY fuel stuff. Wondering your rail/injector size/ pump/ fpr? for 600, id go 3'' piping. 2.5'' is only good for 300 or so. you also have 2 downpipes listed. Im assuming a 3'' straight pipe, but to hit those levels you may need 4''. Not to be nitpicky, but this seems more like a pipe dream than actual numbers. And if/when you can post the dyno and answer these questions Ill apologzie for jumping to conclusions. Good luck. all i need is a week or 2 to get it tuned and get everything to wasy i want then off to the dyno andthe fuel rail was custom made it came with the sheet matel intake i have 9 or 1000cc and 2 fuel pumps 1 in tank and 1 inline aeromotive. i will answer all ur ather ? later |

QUOTE(Bigmeanbulldog55 @ Nov 14, 2006 - 2:51 PM) What kind of transmission and mounts do you have to hold that power? With that much, it's hard to believe axles will hold together at all. You could have a 600hp DD. Just a car with a big turbo. That way it doesn't kick in until high rpms, and that isn't something you have to do everyday. i have 3 soild mounts and the axles are going to be custom made the drive shaft shop thay told me it was going to be alittle bit on them. the trany is a mr2 and i know it going to have to be rebilt after a few weeks of me getting on it |

QUOTE(quicknstyle @ Nov 14, 2006 - 12:48 PM) my question is just why??? that much hp on fwd isnt exactly what i would call streetable, more of a dno queen... good work if its true, but even still, im smelling some bs on this one. yes for the most part its going to be a dyno king. but for racing this going to down to around 5 something |
