That sounds positive. Ive seen a lot of conversion using UAS bags on the BCs. The kit is approx 2.5 -3k though. My only thoughts is the limited space in the upper rear struts and that they may rub.

So Im building a 5S with 3S head.
Ive had a lot of custom machining work done including matching of the water channels to the head and also 4 individual water inlets per cylinder for more even cooling.
My goal is to run in the region of 650-750hp with a FMW S300.
I am questioning the strength of the 5S as many people seem to only go around 500-550hp and not exceed 600hp.
Is it worth wet sleeving it?

Yeah I think cost is a real big issue here.

I did the same mod last month except I went through the bulk head with the other cables not via the wing.

Im using a 100amp push switch fuse.

Anyone here running air rides?
I have BC BR coilovers and having looked around ive seen a few people in the US managed to swap out the BC springs and installed air bags I stead.
Im seriously considering this mod but id like to ask if anyone has experience in using the more modern air rides for feedback on functionality?
Im not asking for opinions from what people think or have read or wanting a debate on good or bad. Im more interested on knowing how does it feel compared to springs, can you adjust the rebound stiffness by the pressure or does the pressure only dictates the ride height? How long have you used it for and how robust are they?

I love your effort and look forward to seeing the end result.
Tell me is your goal to make an entire 1 piece light weigh pulled from a mould you made or is this the result of bonded slightly modded stock panels?
For me ive always wanted to do a light weight composite front end to loose more kgs but cannot justify the means to do so when ive got so many other things going on.

Its called an EZ universal lip. A cheap rubber trim you can buy off ebay. Fits all cars and very bendy and flappy.

First thing that came to mind was that it looked like my sisters french bull dog. lol
If its for Rally it doesnt matter what it looks like. As long as it works and performs well as in being strong and not too heavy can survive a good ramming. thumbsup.gif

prepare to be thoroughly disappointed by a GT

Why so? I used to own a GT (ST202) and it was great. Yeah its not as powerful as a GT four but for what it was it was brilliantly balanced and punchy.
Certainly better then the gen 7 IMO.

I do remember a guy with a white GT4 with a carbon diffuser and RB spoiler he made him self I think in Paraguay? I saw some up to date photos a few months back where he had done the RB arches too. His worked well because he has a stock ish look and it was just arches which flowed with the car. Ill try and find the pic.

I lost interest in this after seeing how the bottom parts of the flairs look and the lip and the skirt. Its like they gave up trying to make it look good when finding a way to blend it to the car. I actually really dislike it now.

i want to find out how i can get my hands on one of these kits.

That is just the normal RB for the 86 but being cut down and modified for the 6G.

It looks like theyve used rear arches for the front as well and extended the bottom a bit.

20M!!! That would kiss half your margins goodbye if you where a business with 3M vinyl.
But then again if its DIY its not that bad but for a little bit more you're better off paying an expert to do the job. Save you the cursing and nothing looks worse then a badly wrapped car.

Depending on how you wrap Nd and generous your handling area is, id say 11 meters is enough to do the entire car.

So how does the window know when to stop or know when it's hit to top or bottom?
There must be some kind of sensor or micro switch somewhere?

Thanks. I've tried swapping out the switches several times but no difference.
Hence why I'm thinking it's something in the rails or motor mechanism.

So how does it know when to stop on a one touch?
A minor fault on my GT4 that the drivers side doesn't go all the way up at one click but always stop at a random point then I have to press it again to go all the way up.
At first I thought it was my switch but that's all cleaned out and checked and is ok.
What could the cause be and how do I resolve it?
