since the lower part is completely cracked, should i just use fiberglass/carbon fiber on the inside and outside to hold it together? will that be strong enough? and for the teeth or the prongs that hold the lower part of the lip, will fiber glass/carbon fiber be strong enough to hold them together even going over bumps. |

when i get time, i think i am going to get some kind of rod and use that as a skeleton for the main lip that broke then maybe use some carbon fiber on the inside of it to hold it together. as for the little teeth or the prongs that suspend it im not sure the best way to hold that to the main broken lip. |

yea. i took him off the road, and asked the only house on the road if it was there dog (the dog had no collar on it) and the house owner said it wasnt his and that many people release stray dogs around that area. but still that was a rough night. i felt pretty harrible! |

yea, the paint deff needs a touchup. but since i am hoping to sell the car be the end of the summer i will probobly do some spraypainting with mid grade car paint again. i did it before and it looked very good, only in some light cases could you tell the difference. as for the front. one of yall mentioned a local friend who worked on fixing your front? think you could give me a rough estimate judging from your experience with your repair man? |

ok, so i was coming home from greenville, sc. driving at night with 3 friends in the car. and a dog ran out in front of my car and went under me. there was not much i or anyone could have done. it was a narrow road with deep shoulders on both sides. but anyhow my car has taken its toll from this. and the front lip is now totally cracked. and i was wondering if it is going to be repairable. the car does have its share of high mileage but for the sake of resale and for my own pride driving the car i want it to look a little more presentable. so i will soon post some pics of the car and any advice on how it could be fixed or not fixed would be super appreciated! |

ok, i found a site thats linked to japan imports. and i found lots of cheap GT-4's priced from 3-15k. um i know theres a few strings attached and a few catches. but what all would be necissary to haul one over there and be legal? and ive noticed lots of pictures from people on this site have right side steering. is this because they imported from japan? please dont kill me for this ?. just curious lol |

here is the knob thats missing, and that little white end is in bad shape. last owner used wrench to turn it, and its peeled the plastic off over time. here is a picture of my dashboard with the ghetto lights to light it up because the darn backlight doesnt work, any tips that may lead to why this problem is happening would be great! here is a picture of my clock. not much to see but it resets to 1:00 everytime the unit looses power. it cant keep any memory. p.s. it is an aftermarket cd player for whoever was wondering earlier. a little random but does this look to boring to any of yall? it does to me, and if anyone wants to throw out any idea id consider it. because i want it to have some nice tone. with a little contrast. thanks for any comments! |

F*%^ my air conditioner knob. i bought the car with no ac knob, so i cant turn it to high low or off. the only way i can do this is the way the previous owner has been doing it... they dumb stupid way. he had a wrench he grabbed the little knob cylinder that held the actual knob and twisted it to low. high off or whatever he needed. so i need more than just a replacement knob. i need some of the hardware that comes behind the knob. anyone have any idea where i can get this stuff? right now ive got it stuck on medium. and its either to hot or to cold. and i feel its stealing a tiny bit of my gas since its not on off when i want it off! any help!? |

hey everyone. im really not sure if what ive got is a common problem. i highly doubt it but i do hope i find some kind of solution. my newly bought car has a problem of dashboard lights not lighting up(atm im using little lights that sit on top of the plastic and shine onto the dashboard! its really lame) and my clock always gets reset to 1:00 after i turn the power to the car off. also it looses any saved radio stations... not a big deal but another symptom of my problem. so can anyone help. this problem really sucks... any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks |

hey everyone, so sorry i havent been in touch. i moved up to boone, north carolina. and i havent gotten internet untill today. even now im on my friends laptop because my desktop doesnt have a wireless card. but thanks all for the help. someone mentioned above about doing some small stuff to make sure the engine is working properly. i wanted to ask all the simple things any of yall would do to make sure its in working order? and for the exterior. i may have to wait a while till i get enough money. and it is looking like its going to come down to me self prepping it and sanding the old paint off. i may or may not prime it. i have low confidence in my own painting lol. but im not sure what id like the color to be. only thing on my mind is i hate red. (not the red it is now but like... viper red.) p.s. thanks for the help and pointers so far! |
