You dont have a GT4, so dont put a gt4 hood on it.
If you really want bonnet vents dop some thing origional, but definately not that.

QUOTE (playr158 @ Nov 28, 2008 - 12:01 PM) *
also to be noted spoilers and wings are different. A spoiler is close to the body of the car where as a wing is offset in height by a reasonable amount

Just out of interest then, does lil joe have a spolier or a wing, Personally i would have counted it as a spoiler,
and a wing more like mine that is fixed on with "bracket" so to speak, saying that, is a gt4 a wing or a spoiler because i always call it a wing, which is against what i just said confused.gif

Thanks in advance
rick

I like wings, hence mine.
I dont like the celica spoilerless, and the rear bumper site too high off the ground, so spoilerless just looks wrong to me.
standard spoilers look good, but i didnt want to look like every other celica.
Certainly wouldnt change back from mine now.

Personally I have never gone up the back of any one, touch wood.
But better brakes would still be nice.

Over here the roads are in too bad a state for full coilovers, apparently they make the ride rather harsh and are normally kept for more track oriented cars.
I went for Eibach Springs and KYB Shocks.
Never had any problems, been on the car 4 years now.
lowered it about 30 mm and keeps the ride nice while improving the handling very well.

I love the style of the wheel.
We used to have 18s on mine with a 35 profile tyre, the ride comfort was hidious, wouldnt go back although they did look awsome.
But we have 17s on her now and she still looks good but the ride comfort is so much better.

lol, pink wouldnt be my first choice either but its not my car anymore, and it makes her happy.
Personally I think the pink and black go really well together though.
As for the wing, I really didnt want a GT4 spoiler on it, and I wanted it to look different to what most other celicas look like.
We are really pleased with the way it looks, and yesterday I put the front spats on it biggrin.gif

by caliper i just meant what ever is needed.
Is it worth while price compared to gains.
Or will better pads do the same thing?
So if to chamge to gt, its Calipers, brackets, pads and discs i need? anything else?
Cheers

hello
I was just wondering which would be a better option.
Getting uprated discs and pads for the standard ST calipers,
or changing to GT calipers using standard discs and pads?
Any info much appreciated.
thankyou

I have seen cars with the spoiler on both ways, so I am unsure of the "correct way", but I think it looks good. Might see what it looks like the other way round when I cover the end pieces in pink.
Cheers for the positive comments guys, not very often other celica owners like things that arent the norm

Hello,
My name is Rick, and I am from Dorset in the UK.
Have owned out 6th Gen for 5 years now and only just heard of this site frown.gif, but have found it now biggrin.gif.
I origionally bought the car, but my gf had it off me when i bough an ST185 GT4, unfortunately the head gasket went, and so did the car. but we still have the gen 6 st and absolutely love it. The nicest and best cars i have ever driven.
Any way, hey to you all.
Cheers
Rick
