Today I.....

For the first time ever in my entire life, drove in the snow. (added bonus with my Celica) as someone who was born and raised in Tucson Arizona, this is something very rare I think haha.

Kevin

hahah. hope you had fun. I drive in snow for half the year. the celi handles reallyl nice in snow, given that you have decent tires. I've been riding around on crappy tires for a while. Since I got a decent job now, I'm gonna buy some real nice winter tires next year. biggrin.gif

Hankook Winter I-Pike! They're stud-able, amazingly grippy, and have a quiet running tread pattern. They're cheap too wink.gif I run a 195/60/15 on my OEM GT rims.

what's that supposed to mean? You can tell we're joking about hiding and painting the cars. So why be an ass? Have a sense of humor i'm trying to make light of my situation.

I'm not so sure that his post was mean't to affront you or if it was even directed towards you

I think it was more along the lines of "...the people who are saying they'd run, or do run, or for act like they're tough would be to scared to actually do it."

I mean, that's whats going through my head. Running is pointless. It's not the fast and the furriest... Cops aren't stupid. "A *insert color here* last seen going this direction at a high rate of speed" doesn't get un noticed, especially in my location... ...considering I'm the only white hatch in the city. Radios work, Cops are smart, it will catch up to you eventually.

With that said, today I went to traffic court and got my inspection ticket dropped from officer Stickler (I laughed when I read the ticket, right in front of her). It's funny to watch the amount of stupidity people have in court in regards to speeding fines and what-not.

This isn't the days of yore when you could outrun the cops. Damn you helicopters, damn you. Also damn the fact even the average cop car now sports above average performance. This isn't their granddaddy's 78 Bonneville which is a slug by any standard of year.

A celi can't outrun a crown vic on the highway. If you can't hang a right and get out of sight before they close in on you then don't bother.
Like I said though if they have to bust a bitch or start from a dead stop I will try to hitthe first exit or turn. I'm already getting a ticket for speeding. But I slow down and pull over immediately if they catch me, otherwise you get a felony evading arrest plus theyre suspicious your stashing dope.
