Stock engine is out of the car, running a gen3 3sgte, car was previously 5sfe. I know which wire is the tach signal on the gauges (IG-), and which wire is at the igniter for the signal. I've been trying to run my tach off of the aftermarket computer that controls the engine now, but it doesn't output the right signal to run the tach. I would need an adapted. So no I'm looking into running the tach off of the new igniter ground. The problem is I now have 4 coils, and each coil has a built-in igniter. I can't pull the signal off of the igniter to give a signal to the tach, and I can't use the ecu signal without getting an adapter. Anyone have any more ideas?

yeah, I guess I could do that and try to figure out how to shove it in my gauge cluster. I don't want my interior riddled with gauges..haha.

hmm..OR I could buy a cheap set of 1.8t factory gauges off of ebay and swap out the tachs in the gauge cluster! smile.gif It even has a little clock in the RPM gauge
