I'm in the process of preparing the celica for sale. Theres a fe issues that are coming up. Theres an oil leak that looks like an oil pump gasket leak, and when i drive it, the power is extemely sluggish after i reach about 25-30mph in all 5 gears. which im hoping is just the furl filter. I checked the compression and their 170, 165, 172.50, 166, which from what i understand is good for it having 205000 miles on her. Theres still the possibility that the oil ring is bad but, im hoping thats not the case. BTW does anyone know of a way to test if the oil pump is bad and if the oil risg is bad? Also any other opinions on what could the problem be? Thanks biggrin.gif

Just look to see where it's leaking from. I replaced my oil pump gasket, but found out it was actually the whole housing that was leaking. It's not a huge issue if it leaks a little bit. As for it being sluggish, you might want to just do a quick tune up before you sell it. Air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, PCV valve and do an oil change.

check the obvious tune up areas first for your sluggishness.
