Cheers mate and yes it is. Basically I went to put the car on a dyno and found that the car couldn't clear with the spats on so they've had to come off and they'll be tiger sealed back on along with the other parts like the riser blocks as well smile.gif

Ok then well I did say it'd be a while before I changed much else and it's been about a month.

I've since bought her some new Euro Riser Blocks (The half size of the GT FOUR blocks) and perhaps more importantly a set of projectors which a good friend of mine is going to bring to a meet for me so they don't get damaged

So they'll be going on in a few weeks as will the Riser Blocks before I return the front spats on and attach them all properly

I can't wait to get it all done and I daresay it'll make the front end look a lot meaner again biggrin.gif

Thanks for reading and more progress shortly no doubt

Car looks great man, I voted for it last month in the CTM love how it looks!

How much of a drop do those springs offer? Sits nicely.

Thanks very much buddy I appreciate it biggrin.gif

I blame Timmy for setting me off with the projectors etc though saw his car on here and drooled for ages so now I fancy a go but in White lol

I've gotta be honest though buddy I don't know what springs they are, All I know is they're black which makes me think they're either TRD springs os possibly AVO's

Either way I believe it's approx 40-50 mm roughly as it's a lot lower than most other UK Celica's so either way I'm happy with it smile.gif

well time for a quick update smile.gif

Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances the projectors have been sold on as funds wouldn't allow on this occasion frown.gif

However all isn't lost as I've managed to get the riser blocks fitted and I'm reasonably happy with how they look.

I went to a modified car show over here and to say it was a washout would be an understatement. I spent around $100 on cleaning stuff for the car, had it gleaming then took it in the gates and it came out looking like this frown.gif

Although the car also made it in an uncomplimentary pic of the event too LOL

And now to top it all off I've got a crack in the windscreen too so I'm not best pleased all in all frown.gif

More to follow I'm sure though smile.gif

Cheers buddy they've really set the look of the car off I think so I'm happy with that

Well another month's gone by and I've got bored yet again and my tyres are nearly shot to I've bought yet another set of alloys.

They're BK 299's but they've been powder coated to prevent the lacquer corroding which is a common thing for them so by doing this it stops it. And I got them for an absolute steal of a price too so plenty happy with that

They can't be fitted just yet but here's a quick pic smile.gif

They're 17 x 7J so nothing massive or fancy so I'll likely end up buying daft sized spacers to pull them out to the edge a bit better and as I did say I wanted white wheels and had them before I smashed them to bits I was happy with the look of the car and I've liked these wheels for a while too so all is good.

So I've got a bit of work to do when the wheels come off so the caliper will be getting sorted hopefully so it might not leak smile.gif

Well I should probably update this, As mentioned before I've bought the BK299's and finally fitted them and I'm reasonably happy with the look although I'm undecided if they need spacing out a tad (ET35) I've got 6mm spacers on the rear at the moment but I'm pondering going 15mm rear 10mm front but undecided so opinions would be good please?

Anyways I'm stil working on sorting some projectors for her as I think that'd finish the look off how I want it and then after that is to get the doors replaced so they're closer to the same shade of white as the car is as it's the one thing that really really irritates me about the car at the moment

Anyways enough chatter I went out the other day and got some of my best pics yet (I'm a noob with a camera) so here they are smile.gif

Cheers mate I appreciate it. I'm thinking projectors / crystal indicators then the outside's done then I can work on the engine and get a tad more power I hope lol smile.gif

I wasn't sure on the wheels but as they were white on the white car and cheap I took them up and I'm glad I did as I'm finally happy with them lol smile.gif

Nice Celica. I have black side mirrors, but white looks very nice, definitely doing mine.
Waiting to see it with projectors.

I just realised that I hadn't actually posted on your thread yet tongue.gif

Your car looks great; super clean (Well, except for the car show pics tongue.gif)

The new wheels look okay, but they are a bit busy for my tastes. If you stuck those stock / europe option (Or whatever they are - all I know is I can't have them frown.gif )17" 5 spokes back on, with the lights and indicators the exterior would be mint. (If everybody can't tell by now I love the sleek, OEM look tongue.gif).

And parking at the drop-off of the road to take lowered car pics is cheating! tongue.gif
