Cheers Josh lol. The car's lowered already so no cheating
Turns out the guy with the projectors is a complete bulls**tter so I won't be dealing with him so she'll be staying how she is for a while which sucks to be honest I know what you mean about the 5 spokes Josh they're actually Masitaly wheels with Toyota centre caps but I couldn't get round to actually liking them I think they look too thin spoked for the chunky look of the car so the others are ideal but I mainly bought them for the colour as I've always been white on white minded. Anyways she's had a lot of bits bought for her service (5W 40 Fully Synth and Iridium plugs amongst other things so it turns out me telling him and the rest of CCUK to swing has done her a favour really lol) After that she'll be getting the windscreen replaced for MOT then I'll just enjoy her I suspect |

Cheers mate I appreciate it.
She's got a few bits left to do interiorwise which will be done soon but one of the things I want doesn't seem to exist lol I'd definitely go gen 7 seats on yours they'd suit nicely (I've got the 03 onwards ones) but either set work well in my opinion |

Well a quick update no pics yet but I'm sure you know what she looks like now haha
Due to driving to a friends house a few nights ago there was an awful noise which I wondered what the heck was going on, I got out and realised that the arch liner had come loose and was dragging along the floor. When I pulled over to take a look and realised how bad it was I noticed half of it scraping the floor and the rest looked like a cheese string that had been pulled apart So I popped over to a friends today, picked up a new arch liner which will be being fitted this Friday hopefully along with some other parts I've also picked up a new set of interior plastics which are in white, I'll give them a quick touch up in due time but they'll do for now. They'll be going in Friday and with any luck she'll be getting a well earned service (I've bought 5W 40 Fully Synth oil) and a set of NGK Iridium plugs etc so with any joy she'll be better on fuel too Hopefully pics to follow |

Well now I need your help please folks. As you probably know I was buying projectors but the deal went sour so I'm not doing that for the minute. (I will be eventually though fear not )
Anyways I'd sold my HID's on to another member on the club so I'm currently back to my OEM bulbs which are as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike so I'm changing them I've decided to change the Main / Dipped beams to MTEC Super White's as they're legal for MOT's etc over here which is handy but now I'm kinda torn between changing my fog bulbs to the yellow ones for the JDM look Now I've seen this pic (Shameless plug for Tigawoods cheers for the pic ) http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4114/473430...923e6ebbf_z.jpg And I'm now torn between either doing it or not doing it permanently or do I just keep them clear and use the yellow bulbs Or alternatively do I just remove the fogs completely? HELP PLEASE Cheers in advance Ryan |

Your car is all white so I think yellow might draw alot of attention to the fogs. if that's what you want then you can do it. If not you can do the yellow bulbs as the car will still be white but you can have the yellow when you turn them on.

Cheers I'm thinking you're right so I'll grab the yellow bulbs and just keep the units themselves clear Cheers buddy |

Well good news and bad news I guess
The bad news is I'm staying around but the bad news is I've sold Daisy the G6 and I've now replaced her with a SW20 MR2 I've wanted one for years and now I've finally got one. I didn't expect to get one as they're getting rare over here now but now I've got one I'm quite pleased So anyways I'll upload pics as and when |

(Your words, not mine ^.^) That's a bit of a surprise, but good luck with your MR2 They are one of the cars that are easy to get over here, and I had been looking at before I bought the Celica, but decided against it for the extra practicality... Cracking car though. -------------------- SOLD :( 1997 ST204 Celica ZR -----> See it here on 6GC! 2013 October Celica of the Month XD Now: '00 NB8B Mazda MX5 -----> See it here in off topic! |

Nice to see you noticed my 'intentional' typo LOL
Once again we've got the 3S-GE over here not sure what engine codes you all get in various parts of the world She'll need a few little bits doing but she's pretty fun to drive, I need to adjust the coilovers / remove the spacers as she's stupidly stanced at the minute lol Pics |

Cheers buddy I appreciate it,
It's certainly not as quick as my 6gc was (not sure what had been done to it but it was very free revving) I hope it's ok for me to throw a few pics in here as I don't know where else to put them, I plan on sticking around if I may too I've only done a few little bits like removing the headlight tint / bought some indicators for it so nothing too drastic yet Anyways pics? Anyways I've seen what the new owner of my 6gc has done and to say I'm not impressed is an understatemnt For a start he's tinted the fogs / main beams yellow yet for some weird reason he's done the dipped beams with a blue tint as well, Not my cup of tea at all |

Damn....the new owner of your car. Did you two just trade cars? Sounds like he's doing what the mr2 had onto your celica. Tsk tsk.

Yes indeed mate we just swapped the cars over which suits me mainly as the 6 had quite a few little bits that needed doing but funds just wouldn't stretch to I saw a pic of it the other day and almost cried if I'm honest, I thought she looked ok as she was but apparently not the case I'm hoping I can put a few personal touches on the Mr2 although the base itself is pretty good already just needs his bad taste removing haha |

Right then well today / yesterday I've been getting very angry with the car and the issues with the suspension geometry
Not only are the wheels 8.5J wide but they're ET36 all round (MR2's are meant to be staggered) so there's a issue there In addition the wheels after being removed from the hub have no spigot rings so another issue there as all the weight is going onto the wheel studs Third issue is that the wheel studs on the front are longer than the rears without the spacers on, they won't fit with OEM bolts so I now need to source OEM studs which I have as well as new bolts seeing how these ones are cheap tat made from Ali instead of steel and have managed to round off on one of the hubs So after 3 hours of trying to remove the stuck nut off of the hub and finally managing the car is now unsafe to drive until I receive the new bits so I can smash the studs through and fit the new ones Apart from that the back of the car looks better now it's not got an ET of 11 due to the 25mm spacers on the rears which is good, Once I've got the new studs for the front I'll possibly put the 5mm spacers I've recently bought onto the rear to pull the wheels out slightly then I've also removed the yellow fog tints as well and think I prefer it plain although I'll happily get the MTEC Golden Style bulbs to replace them for the more JDM look whenever I want it compared to all the time More as and when hopefully unless I get no joy from the previous owner in which case I'll be getting my 6 back |
