 advice on slowly rebuilding my celica |

Ok a while back i wrecked my celica and i have recently decided i want my baby back and im full of questions
i was wondering if my goal was to get my car as close to being in perfect condition as possible what would be best as far as money and overall benefit a swap or rebuilding my current engine with 120k give or take a few also what part would your guys suggest i replace just because? Also in the future i wanna turbo charge it but not until my car is in the best possible shape it can be in so if there is anything. What condition is the car in? Did the airbags deploy? Fender bender? Did the insurance total the car?
At 120k miles I wouldn't rebuild a dang thing on that 5s. It's just getting broken in. This is a perfect case of don't fix it if it ain't broke. I hit a deer in mine and rebuilt most of the front end. Thought about doing the work you are talking about right now at that point and that's when I got involved in this forum. I was on here all the time looking for ideas for performance upgrades since I had the car apart anyway.... But because it was a salvage title car, doing all that work to a car with a salvage title would have hurt me in the long run. I just ended up fixing it and I still drive it daily. I satisfied my performance needs by buying a clean title shell and made a RHD Beams swapped car instead. So, long story short, I can't make recommendations about what to replace if I don't know what is currently broken. I bought another parts car to fix mine (picked it up for $400) Good luck --------------------  |

As many have said, suspension first then power. After your done with the body repair I would start with new bushings, end links, and ball joints. having just done it myself on my car I can tell ya it makes an incredible difference.
