I'm typing this on my phone, so excuse and mistakes. So Not even an hour ago I'm driving mu friends home coming from another town. This guy in a big lifted truck (lots of hicks up here) starts to ride my a$$. I slow down abunch and since lots of deer are out at the moment I was already going slow. He passes me in a no passing zone. Proceeds to drive only 20 mph where I thought 45 was slow. After we stay at a decent distance from him for a good 5 minutes, the guy pulls over, lets us pass and starts to follow us
Now survival instinct kicks in and I get into town quick as I can, I take first left in my town to see if he follows. Of course he does. He continues to follow me as I go on a wild goose chase through town. Nothing in my town is open at midnight. He keeps trying to cut us off by taking alleys. At one point he got infront of us and came racing at us. I whipped my celly into reverse and pulled off a successful j turn (felt like I was in an action movie.) We called the cops but the guy had his brights on so we couldn't see his plates. But we ended up loosing him and hid out at my friends house. Tl; dr My celica saved me and my friends life. Woo! |

In my area (Sydney, nsw, Australia) there is aggression much like this everyday... Yesterday, actually, I cleaned the interior and thought about washing the exterior; then I just took pictures of the cars.
Today, I will be "escorting" the wife's new car back to Charlotte; all back roads driving since we're still in the break-in period and are avoiding Interstates and speeds over 60mph. -------------------- Has no more Celicas

I'll do my best to stay on the path of gentlemanly husband skills. -------------------- Has no more Celicas

He was probably drunk or jacked up on meth. This is why I'm a firm believer in killing stupid people, would solve many of the world's problems. That's another story for another day though... Today I rotated my tires, and calculated my mileage. Getting about 35 mpg, and that's with some pedal to the metal here and there. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

^That's pretty awesome! Can you have it set to flash between "Toyota" and "Celica" while braking? That'd be cool.
