Zach, I think we could take advantage of the wet conditions and have a little drifting contest. laugh.gif

As long as there's no standing water, my air filter is behind the fog light about 6 inches off the ground.

Yes, exactly. I'm waiting for someone to see what suspension I'm on and ask me if I installed it wrong because I'm not slammed on the ground. laugh.gif

Royal Purple is super over rated and way over priced. Shell Rotella is where it's at if you're making big power. You're not, just run some off the shelf synthetic and a good filter.

This is going to be quite a large meet....

That being said, those who are regulars at the meets know how we are/behave. For everyone coming for the first time, absolutely no asshattery will be tolerated.

With this many cars, I don't want to attract any unwanted attention. I'm all for a big meet and Celica bretheren, but if we have problems, Daniel and I will be forced to lock this meet back down to 6GC.

Zack and Daniel, this includes you. I don't care how big you think your wangs are becuase you show up in RWD vehicles, I'll throw your asses out for doing burnouts.

Tokyo Drifting is ok though tongue.gif

I don't have enough decals or Ebay wings on my Z for Tokyo Drifting. frown.gif DK would pwn me. I'm not even planning on driving that hard on rt 71. There's no telli g how much silt and sand is left in the road from all the rain, plus my fro t tires aren't the greatest. Seems like every time a Z wrecks, it either gets air time or becomes a tree sweater and I'd rather not do either.

Nope.

WELL NOW! that looks NOTHING like the movies at all.
You're telling me that Tokyo Drift isn't based on real life events and I shouldn't go attempt the things they do in the movie right after watching it????

haha I'm with daniel on this one.. roads may be too risky, besides I haven't pushed the limits of the Mustang yet on handling. I know it does better than either of my old celicas, but I am NOT going to test it out on RT71... walls of death and trees... nope! (although a burnout WILL come later... after the meet is done and over with.) wink.gif

Zach, are you bringing some burgers too? I'm trying to figure out how much meat to buy. I think everything else is taken care of. I don't see charcoal, foil for the grille, or grilling utensils but I could have sworn I saw them on an earlier revision of the list. Looks like its down to a 20% chance of rain so we should be good. thumbsup.gif

Devin is bringing the gas grill, I've got propane for both Devin and Jordan. I'm not bringing charcoal. I'd hate to run over it again.

I'll bring a bag for you to run over, no I am bringing a bag anyway. It's been sitting around here forever, if I don't use it I'll just leave it there for whomever uses the grills next.
