What kind of Infinity speakers? What size? I'm looking for something really cheap for now to replace my stock speakers.

I have decided to go with the Alpine -R speakers in my 96 GT (4 speaker). Before I order these from etronics.com I want to be sure they will fit. I know I will need to make mounts for the fronts - but will the APN SPR176A (6 1/2 components) fit? They look pretty deep will there be room? I am planning on drilling one inch holes in the doors for the tweaters but if it's easier I would prefer using the factory location (triangle plastic below side mirrors). Anyone taken these plastic pieces off and drilled into them? Thanks!

I will get the speakers coming and see if they will fit. I will post the results. Thanks for your help. Think the tweeters will work in the small triangles under the mirrors?

Those should fit man. Type-Rs are some of the best.

Thanks I just convinced my girlfriend to order me the set for my b-day. I will try to find some of the tweeter triangles at the junk yard. Can't wait to install the speakers - the stock ones sound like ass!!

there is a problem with this statement. Clear highs from the back = bad. Highs from the back = bad. Save the money and buy midbass smile.gif
