We were drinking at a friend's and I left her there and went home, hope she is safe.

Today I bought more sand paper and another stripping wheel for finishing my wheels. Ugh this process sucks balls, but the finish is so nice.

Today I scored at the junkyard. Went for some covers for the wipers and walked out with those plus plenum horns off a lexus, carpet for trunk, and oh yeah..oem skirts.

Where are the junkyards in ft worth? I always look out in kennedale

Yeah, I feel for you with those small spokes and whatnot. I imagine you will have about 20 hours into that set.

Got the oil pan welded on the VR6 Jetta and installed. Why do the Germans love to put a million bolts in everything? confused.gif Then got the motor back in the Celica. Tomorrow is "find the wire day"

Am I incorrect in thinking that new brake pads should not be pitted as follows?

Technically this was yesterday:
But I attended the Monthly Toyota Owners Club meet at Greenacre McDonalds.
This is a photo I got of our group:

The one lone Celica in with all the Corollas tongue.gif

And here is a photo of the other side after a lot of the Camry's left:

Overall was an enjoyable meet smile.gif

Next time I won't be using my phone as a Camera... I would of used the SLR but I hadn't been home since 11am that day tongue.gif

Installed my fakechinese****ty apexi powerintake (ebay scammer put pictures of genuine apexi). I made a long pipe with two bends, and dropped the filter down to the floor and next to the radiator. Still, car revs better with a nice grunt above 4.5K rpm.

Yes, you are, sir. That is a manufacturing defect.

Today I started the first steps of shaving my Celi.
Front license plate, side markers, door handles, front and back window washers, back wiper blade, antenna, gas tank cap, both emblems or only the front. That is the plan.

Thanks kindly for confirming. The pads were all jangling loosely together in what was supposed to be a well packed box.

Finally got around to replacing the park lights with my Spree LED kit ones. They are very tricky.

Thinking of getting brighter headlight bulbs aswell, the H1's are just too weak in the low beam projectors.
