Thanks alot,.. i agree, stagger look fits better on rwd cars, but i like the aggresive look it feeds.. but i will take your advise and go 18x8.5 all around. here is the rims i will soon have enough saved to get. http://dfmclients.com/mirowheel/portfolio/type-111-silver/ our C.B is 57.1.. correct ? OAN: will the GT/GTS Megan Racing MR-CDK-TCE94 fit my ST ? cant seem to find coils for ST.. =[ I dont thin 7th gen suspension fit 6th Here are the coilovers for our cars. http://www.redlinemotive.com/part-number/m...r-cdk-tce94.asp And no the center bore for our cars is 54.1. Those miro wheels have 57.1 C.B meaning that yo can/should get center rings from 54.1 to 57.1 to eliminate any vibrations. -------------------- |

^ Correct specs. Honestly, with tC wheels and spacers I'd worry for the hubs.

^ Correct specs. Honestly, with tC wheels and spacers I'd worry for the hubs. yes i agree,.. i realized on a x7 rear with a 45offset i will need a HUGE spacer to reach flush ! i called a-dapt-it and these were there available size: 25.4 / 33.02 / 38.1 / 45.72 mm . . . this is tooo much of an extended pressure i believe.. -------------------- 94' Celica GT Manual |

As long as you avoid rough roads (which might be very difficult for you as I see you are in NJ) I would put on a 33mm size one. The spec they gave you was 33.02? Thats an odd measurement for a spacer

I'd be interested in bronze. I just did my wheels in burnt copper, it looks fair.

Thank you - it was a painstaking process of stripping, sanding, priming, and painting but it came out very well. I didn't get spacers for the wheels once I realized how heavy they were so I kept the sunken-in look. Tires were General Altimax HPs in 215/45R17. -------------------- Has no more Celicas

Here are the coilovers for our cars. http://www.redlinemotive.com/part-number/m...r-cdk-tce94.asp Thanks to diego i just now ordered my Megans Thank you - it was a painstaking process of stripping, sanding, priming, and painting but it came out very well. Tires were General Altimax HPs in 215/45R17. hmmm, they're arent too sunkin as i would imagine without spacers. i guess after i put them on i will determine the size or if im happy wiith the stance. -------------------- 94' Celica GT Manual |

First time post, looking for some advice from the best I don't get it, you guys seem to be rolling on huge wheels. Compared to the beautiful "flush fit" cars here, my 215/35 R18 look tiny on my car. They are nice but busted looking 18" Zito rims, probably some sort of copies. I have no idea about ET or even width. My guess is I have stock springs now though I know very little about the car's history. I'm considering purchasing some lowering springs but I'm not sure it would look good with the wheels. Maybe some spacers, at least for the rear wheels. What do you guys think? Thanks for all the inspiration here! /Agsel |

any amount of lowering would look better than how it is now. Lower it first, then calculate the size of spacer you will need.
Springs and Shocks are one way of lowering it, but you wont have any adjustability when it comes to fine tuning the suspension to get the best possible fit, coilovers would be the best bet -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |

I realize coilovers is the best bet but I'm aiming to keep a minimal budget, the car handles well enough for my purposes. |

Thinking of picking up 18 x 7.5" with a +42 offset going on an ST205.
I just want to be able to put it on and drive it home. Will it clear stock struts and calipers? -------------------- |

Hey guys! Awesome thread @Harold.
Im still unsure about all this flush fitment and want to be 100% sure before i buy. 17x9 +35front and back set. Would this hit the strut? And what spacers would i need for the rears? I dont mind having this a little less than flush. Thanks! -------------------- It's my car, I do what I want... Don't like it? Buy your own and do it your way.

Its going to be just a little stretched but that will help clear the fenders if you lowered it. If you do roll your fenders all 4 sides. -------------------- |

so i wanna get some new rims for the RI meet, which i am super excited for
and decided to go as wide as possible and stay flushed. i think i will barely clear my fenders with these ? Front: 17x8.25 et25 Rear: 17x9.75 et25 .......................................................... FRONT 8.0" ---------- et+22mm 8.5" ---------- et+27mm So for 8.25 divided by 2 will be 24.5mm ? REAR 9.5" ---------- et+23mm 10.0" --------- et+30mm and for 9.75 divided by 2 will be 26.5 ? my rear has already a good amount of noticeable camber.. if so, tire suggestions ? im hoping these will work -------------------- 94' Celica GT Manual |

Okay, I have 18x8s with I think +35.. I want to get 235 40s mounted. What size spacers do I need to center my wheels to get these tires to fit? The fronts fit with rub only at full lock. But my rears hit my strut. Any suggestions on spacers that could make this work?

But my rears hit my strut. Any suggestions on spacers that could make this work? Reason why your front is rubbing is because you need skinnier tires. Shoot for 215/40 for a dropped car and 205/40 for a lowered/slammish car. Your rear. I'd say get some rear camber holts and put some positive camber into it and also change to smaller size tires will help with the strut issue. Roll your fenders too if you haven't yet. -------------------- |
