I am interested in buying a 94-99 Toyota Celica GT Hatchback in mint condition.

Specifics:
-Never wrecked or had an accident.
-Runs perfect. No problems.
-Well taken care of.
-Low original mileage (80k or less.)
-Standard Transmission.

My location is in central KY. Been looking for one of these for awhile now! wink.gif

Not necessarily. It's either buy a new DD sports car (Mazdaspeed 3, Focus ST, Scion FR-S etc.) or buy two older model cars. (6GT(DD) & SupraMK3TT/Corolla GT-S/Celica-Supra(PJ))

Which one would you prefer? New DD or Two older?

If you want all the criterias met, I would recommend the New DD. If you want the Two older, you have to look hard, especially a standard tranny.

Honestly I'm looking for 2 older cars. I'm not in any rush though. I want to keep this thread bumped as much as I can though. It's gonna be like finding a needle in a haystack but worth it in the end.

Why the such low mileage and never been wrecked before request for a DD? Mines been totaled twice by insurance companies from its previous owners its life time and honestly I'm glad it has a salvaged title. I got it cheap, liability is cheap, county tax is almost non existent and I got a 96+ bumper on a 95 laugh.gif And after 219k the 5s still runs like a champ, shoot 80k is barely breaking it in! tongue.gif

Another thing to think about is if it only has 80k on it most likely it still has all the original struts, ff, sensors, axels, hubs, ECT ECT and after 20 years a lot of those are pbly gonna need changing. On top of the fact that not driving an older car is worse then driving it. Just my personal opinion is all.
